What felt like an eternity was probably only an hour or two before I finally gave up. I triple-checked every nook and cranny in this room to no avail. I was starting to feel hopeless...

I flinched when I heard the door slide open again. Much to my annoyance, I saw Ume walk in.

"Are you alright now?" She asked.

"I'll be alright once I'm able to leave!" I replied, rolling my eyes.

She laughed nervously and slid the door shut behind her.

"Well... Kibutsuji-sama wanted me to talk to you. Since we're both girls and all, he thought we'd be able to get along?"

"Yeah, right..."

She huffed, not seeming ready to give up.

"Well, we're going to get along, whether you like it or not, so you're going to have to put up with me!"
