"I'm exhausted." You said with a tired sigh as you collapsed on the bed beside Yeji.

She set her phone down and looked over at you.

"Did you have a long day, my love?"

"Yeah." You replied before using your remaining strength and energy to turn over and face her. "But it's all good now because I'm home with my favorite girl."

She kissed your cheek and then tucked a strand of hair behind your ear with a grin.

"Well, you can relax soon. All you have to do now is make dinner."

"I'm sorry?" You asked as you sat up to look at her in disbelief. "I have to make dinner? After the long day I had? You're joking."

"No. I'm hungry."

"Then go cook." You chuckled. "I'm just going to relax. I think I might take a long shower or nap."

Yeji moved as you leaned in to kiss her forehead and you scoffed at her.

"Yeji, seriously. I'm not cooking dinner. I'm exhausted. You have two hands and two feet. Go downstairs and cook dinner yourself."

"I just can't believe it. I've been waiting for you to get home so I could eat because when you left this morning, you said you'd make a nice dinner for us."

"Yeah but then my day turned to crap and I just don't feel like it anymore." You explained. "You are perfectly capable of making your own food."

"But it doesn't taste the same. You have the magic touch." She pouted. "Please, baby?"

"Tomorrow, my love. Alright? Just let me relax tonight."

"Whatever." She grumbled. "You get on my nerves sometimes."

"Excuse me?" You asked as she stood up. "I get on your nerves? Look at the way you're speaking to me right now! I am not your servant, Yeji. I am your girlfriend."

She rolled her eyes at you.

"Fine. Rest or take a bath or something. You get to do what you want. Meanwhile, you're too selfish to make dinner for us. I'll just order something."

You were so annoyed by her.

Her attitude and behavior irked you beyond belief and you were so angry.

You just couldn't hide it.

"Hwang Yeji!" You shouted as she went to leave the room. "Don't you ever talk to me like that! Stop treating me like I'm supposed to wait on you hand and foot. You're acting entitled and selfish and I do not like it so knock it off right now!"

She was taken aback by you raising your voice as well as calling her by her full name and for a few seconds, all she could do was stare at you in surprise.

"Tell me you're sorry or I'm going to make you sleep on the sofa tonight." You spoke as you folded your arms over your chest.

Yeji snapped out of her thoughts and came over to the bed to sit beside you once more.

"I'm so sorry. I'm not just saying that, I mean it. I can't believe how I spoke to you and how I acted. That was awful of me. I'm the worst girlfriend ever and I'm truly sorry."

"You're not the worst girlfriend ever." You said as you gently lifted her chin and gazed into her eyes. "You're the complete opposite. At least when you don't talk to me like you did a few minutes ago."

She let out a laugh and then put her forehead against yours.

"I'm sorry for being so demanding and treating you the way I did. I love you."

"I love you too, Hwang Yeji,"

"I don't like you calling me by my full name but that was better than before."

You laughed and kissed her lips softly.

"I'll order food for us both and you can take a shower. Then we'll cuddle and you can sleep. I'll even give you a massage and try to do anything I can to make you forget about your long, exhausting day."

"That sounds amazing."

She wrapped you in her arms and whispered loving words and more apologies against your skin, swearing that she'd never treat you that way again.
