"Is she okay?" (Y/Bff) asked, still standing beside the table, her voice laced with feigned concern. Soshiro sighed, his expression hardening as he turned to her. The sarcastic smile remained, but his eyes were cold, a deadly, piercing gaze that seemed to cut right through her.

"What are you doing here, (Y/Bff)?" he asked, his tone chillingly controlled.

"Oh my, how cold of you, Soshiro," she replied, pretending to pout, though her act of fear was transparent.

"Answer," he commanded, his voice brooking no argument.

She clicked her tongue, the facade slipping away as a smug smile crept across her face. "You never change, do you? How sad. Don't worry, I won't hurt her."

His purple eyes narrowed, locking onto hers with a deathly stare. "Fine," she relented, her tone growing more serious. "Gen sent me here to observe her. No hard feelings, okay?" she said, taunting him when it comes to Narumi.

"Her?" Soshiro asked, his voice calm but laced with suspicion. "Why would a nerd like him be interested in a newbie?"

She shrugged nonchalantly. "Dunno, I'm just here in his favor." A sly smile played on her taunting lips as she thought of Narumi Gen, Japan's strongest combatant in history—the man she was so clearly infatuated with.

He fell silent, still grappling with confusion as she brushed him off with a dismissive wave. "I'll be on my way, Soshiro~ Don't worry, I'm just here to babysit her," she smirked, her words dripping with condescension. Without waiting for a response, she turned and made her way toward the VIP section, accompanied by the manager of the restocafé.

Soshiro watched her retreat, his mind racing. 'This is new. Why would a captain from the 1st Division suddenly take an interest in a new officer?' He mulled over the possibilities, but none seemed to fit. 'Or maybe... she isn't new?' he theorized, his suspicion deepening. But before he could explore the thought further, he realized you still hadn't returned.

"Something isn't right," he muttered under his breath, unease settling in his gut.

Meanwhile, inside the restroom cubicle, you were frantically rummaging through your bag, searching for the special medicine that would calm your sudden transformation. Without it, you feared you wouldn't be able to revert back to your human form.

Yes, you were in a dangerous predicament—halfway transformed into your Kaiju state. Though your human organs remained, the trauma triggered by her sudden presence had left you unable to fully regain your human appearance.

"This is bad. Soshiro will get suspicious of me if I stay here longer!" you whispered anxiously. Your heart raced as you heard the sound of heels clicking against the tiled floor, the shadow of the intruder visible under the door of your cubicle.
