Five hours earlier...

The Morales-Stacy house was a bit to say, in a little state of chaos right now. The normally calm-ish home had a grey, white, and hickory brown colour theme, as the l shaped couch in the living room was grey, and the floors were a hardware tile floor, shined to perfection thanks to Gwen's annoyance with her kids constantly dirtying it. Their living room was a bit of a mess with strings of colorful paper and balloons tied to a weight as everyone was near the kitchen area, as the long 7 seater dining table was covered with a pink and red designed cloth, and things such as thumbtacks and posters were splayed all on the table. Miles and Gwen were currently trying to hang up a poster.

"Little to the left, babe," Gwen calls out from her short standpoint on the ground, her blond hair tied up in a messy ponytail as she tilts her head to see how the poster fits on the wall, and Miles, the ever-loving simp for Gwen, is on a step ladder and hanging a poster for the twins's birthday, as it said "HAPPY BIRTHDAY:" and then Maria's and Mason's names scribbled on the bottom of the poster.

"How's this honey?" Miles calls out and Gwen holds a thumbs up as Miles uses the thumb tacks he put in his afro puff to stick it to the wall. Maya sticks her head out the kitchen and she grins.

"Looking good daddy!" She smiles and Miles shoots a grin at her.

"How's it going with Aunt Ken?" Miles says and Ken peeks her head out, her left cheek dusted with flour.

"Good. Also how does the ovens work again? I don't know how the hell to work a double oven," Ken grins sheepishly and Gwen laughs as she walks into the kitchen with Maya and Ken to help them out. Miles folds up the ladder just as Gerret swiftly tried to move by him with his back turned.

"Ah, ah, ah." Miles tsks. "Turn around and show me what's in your pockets before I pat you down," Miles turns to Gerret and Gerret groans as he takes out balloons filled with a soft substance and sighs.

"You guys always got to ruin my fun," Gerret whines and Miles rolls his eyes affectionately at his son's antics.

Miles shakes his head at his son. "Come on kid, they spent their birthday last March doing spider-stuff. They need this break, and not a..." Miles looks at the balloon a little confused.

"What's that white substance in there bud?" Miles says as he looks at it a little warily, and then his eyes widen as he notices the accidental double meaning and knows that Gerret is about to crack a sexual joke that he's unfortunately fell for too often. "No, no, don't you dare,"

"Dad! Come on that was a perfect opportunity-"

"No." He says as Gwen walks back out and shakes her head.

"Did I miss out on anything or was it just him being... him again?" Gwen says as she gets Gerret in a headlock and he laughs as he tries to wrestle free from his mother's grip.

"Ma!" He laughs as Gwen grins and lets him go with a roll of her eyes, holding up his prank balloons, and Gerret pouts, knowing he was tricked. "Okay in my defense it would be funny if Maria saw it after laying in her bed and she goes around with whipped cream on her back without her knowing,"

"Right, and then proceed to get murdered by your sister with anger issues. Great idea, Gerret," Helen pipes up, rolling her eyes as she comes through the front door with groceries, as Amadeus follows behind her with gift bags

Gerret looks over and grins. "You're backkkk~"

"Gerret," both Miles and Gwen say as a warning, Gwen currently popping his prank balloons safely in the trash.
