The next day

Sage Taylor

I paced the room before I heard the door open. I watched as soldiers came in followed by Serena and Saint. I glanced at him and locked eyes with him.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry about Dad."

I looked away, he was still in there? I glanced at Serena and clinched my jaw. She pulled out a chair and sat down.

"Please have a seat." She said.

"I'll stand." I said.

She gestured the soldiers before they grabbed my forearm making me sit down.

"You've grown so much." She smiled.

"Why'd you kill dad?" I asked.

"I gave him a choice and he chose the wrong side." She shrugged.

I locked eyes with her and chuckled.

"Don't try to read my mind darling, I have mastered my abilities." She said.

"Reading mush is not my forte." I said.

She looked at me and chuckled.

"Join us Sage, we'll be unstoppable...I'm already powerful but us together. I can teach so much." She said.

"Might as well join my dad." I said.

"There is no one like you...you don't know what you're truly capable of. Let me teach you...god you'll be mesmerizing." She said.

I gave her the hardest death glare a person could give someone. Something in me...turned dark.

"I know exactly what I'm capable of...you're alive because I'm allowing you to be." I said.

She looked at me before tilting her head. I stood up causing the soldiers to raise their guns, I looked at her and smiled.

"Shoot yourselves." I said.

My mother stood abruptly as the soldiers in the room turned their weapons on themselves.

"No, don't do that." She said.

The sound of gunshots filled my ears before she looked at me in shock.

"Y-you...-"

"CLEAR THE ROOM!" Dr.Xavier yelled through the mic.

"Better do what he says." I said sitting back down.

Saint looked at me in shock before quickly following behind my mother. I watched as smoke filled my room before glancing at the camera, a smirk filled my lips before I passed out.

Saint Taylor

I followed behind my mother as she continued looking over her shoulder. We walked into an office to see a man, he looked at my mother and sighed.
