I miss you so much, Dad,
Every day, it feels so wrong,
I’m trying hard to stay strong,
I promise I’ll make you proud and belong.I’m brave, though you’re not here,
And sometimes the weight is tough,
I wish you could gently touch my hair
And whisper, “You’re enough.”I hear them talk about their dads
Who catches them when they fall,
“I had a terrible day today, Dad,”
I am crying in my room alone.I’m struggling to hide my tears,
But inside, I’m breaking apart,
Your absence leaves a void so wide,
And presses heavy on my heart.I miss you more than words can tell,
Through every lonely night and day,
In my heart, you’re always close,
Guiding me through the darkest way.
