They passed through the doors, a familiar ritual by now. At least this time, Alex wasn't dressed as a fairy. Still, standing there in his lace orange panties and bra was hardly comforting. He glanced around at the other boys, each with their mentors. A strange thought crossed his mind: It's wild to think we were all chosen by someone, tricked into this. His eyes landed on Danny, who had placed 8th last time and was still dressed as a devil. The outfit no longer matched his fading red skin paint, which had almost completely worn off.

"Alright, here's your hint for today's run." Ember's voice brought Alex back to the present, and he immediately focused. "Today's game is another obstacle course, but this time, there's no slide. The first challenge is crossing a narrow bridge while dodging three swinging makeup brushes. They're heavy, so watch out!"

"Got it!" Alex said, determination clear in his voice as the door opened.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it's time! Our boys are ready to face yet another sissy game in the 141st edition! Last game was a special one, and our Danny here is still honoring it by staying dressed up just like before!" the announcer's voice boomed, filling the room with excitement.

The wheel spun, and one by one, the boys took on the obstacle course. When Alex's turn came, he took a deep breath, steeling himself. The first plank was narrow, and the makeup brushes swinging overhead looked intimidating. Timing was everything. He sprinted onto the plank, pausing just long enough to let the first brush swing by before dashing forward. The second brush whooshed past, missing him by inches. His heart pounded in his chest, but he kept his balance and pushed forward. The third brush came at him fast, nearly grazing his shoulder, but he managed to jump just in time, reaching the next platform safely.

He barely had time to catch his breath before facing the next challenge: two enormous mascara brushes. The brush heads were pointed upward, swinging violently from side to side. If he didn't hold on tight, he knew he'd be thrown off.

Alex waited, his eyes tracking the first brush. As it swooped left, he jumped, grabbing onto the spiked bristles with all his strength. The brush whipped to the right with brutal force, nearly shaking him off. His arms strained under the pressure, but he held on, teeth gritted. The moment it stopped, he leaped toward the second brush, barely managing to grip it as it shot to the left. This one moved even faster, and before he knew it, he was launched into the air, crashing into a pool of pink shower gel below.

The gel was thick and sticky, coating him from head to toe as he struggled to find his footing. Finally, he managed to pull himself out, dripping with the stuff, and made his way to the platform where the others were waiting. They, too, were covered in the sticky substance, each boy as drenched as the next, watching as the last competitor attempted to finish—or fell short.

The first round was over, and the rankings of the top four who would move on were announced. Alex wasn't among them. Disappointed, as Ember came to pick him up. She led him to the bathroom, where he could wash off the gel.

"I hope getting launched into the pool didn't hurt?" Ember asked, handing him a pink sponge.

Alex chuckled softly, "It didn't hurt, thankfully, but that thing packs a punch. Now I'm below 4th place," he said defeated, spreading the pink gel over his body, trying to wash it off.

Ember sprayed him with a garden hose, the cold water contrasting with the sticky warmth of the gel. "As far as I can tell, you're either 5th or 6th," she said, doing her best to comfort him.

Once he was mostly clean, she led him to another bath. The water was clear, for now, but Alex knew what was coming. As soon as he looked up, Ember would drop in the dreaded bath bombs. Sure enough, she held out two, one in each hand.
"I knew it!" Alex said, rolling his eyes playfully. "And of course, it's either pink or purple... Wait, only two today?"

"Yes, only two. I was surprised too, but I guess no one chose the usual colors," she replied with a wink.
"Oh, I wonder why," Alex said, his voice dripping with sarcasm, making Ember giggle.

"By the way, it's Friday tomorrow. What's the plan for the weekend?" Alex asked, a hint of hope in his voice.

"You'll still have to play," Ember sighed.
"Yeah, I figured. But since I don't have to go to school, do we get a free day? Maybe we could do something?" Alex hinted, his hope growing.

Ember smiled, sensing where he was going with this. "It depends. It's complicated, but basically, you're either free or not."

"Sounds mysterious."
"It's not really mysterious, just how the game works. It depends on your placement this week and how your game tomorrow goes," she explained as Alex chose the pink bath bomb.
"Sometimes, the best option isn't always the right one, huh?" Alex said, referencing something Ember had said to him before.

She smiled, appreciating how attentive he was. "I'm not sure there's much difference between the two. They're both as girly as can be," she laughed. Alex stepped into the bath, the water turning pink as the bomb dissolved. Ember moved toward the door. "I have to take care of a few things, but I'll be back to watch the results with you."

Alex nodded, settling into the overly sweet-scented bath. The glitters in the water caught the light with every small movement he made. 'I despise men,' that woman had said. I wonder what her story is, why she creates these games that torture men, turning them into girls, he thought to himself. Minutes passed, and Ember returned.

"Hey Alex, since we have some time, how about a snack?" she asked, her smile warm and inviting as she held out a box of heart-shaped chocolates. Alex picked one up and popped it into his mouth.

"Wow! These are amazing!"
"I'm glad you like them," she said, smiling as they ate a few more chocolates while watching the screen.

"Oh, I almost forgot. Let me wash your hair. Maybe we can finally get the color out," Ember suggested. The thought of being freed from the humiliating dye made Alex feel hopeful. She worked shampoo into his hair, scrubbing diligently to remove the dye, then applied conditioner before washing it all out.

"And? And?" he asked, his excitement and nerves showing.

"It's faded a lot, but it's not completely gone," she said, holding a lock of his hair in front of him.

"Oh, I see what you mean. But at least it's not as bright, and the glitter is finally gone," Alex said, relieved. Ember was happy to see him being positive. Then, the results came up. To Alex's surprise, Tom had won for the second time, which meant he was going to be free!

"No way! Look, Ember, Tom did it!" Alex exclaimed.
"What a relief that must be for him and Noir," Ember replied, a smile on her face. "I'm happy they're getting out of this mess."

"So, that means a new one will come in, right?" Alex asked.
"Yes, a new girl will become a mentor, and a new boy will be picked from the streets," she explained.
"Poor boy, I hope no one else falls for their tricks," Alex said, shaking his head.

Then, they saw Alex's name on the screen along with his punishment: Lipstick and eyeshadow
