Logan had never been one for big celebrations. The noise, the crowds, the forced socializing—it was all a bit much for him. Birthdays were no exception. He preferred the day to pass quietly, without the fanfare or attention that others seemed to crave. But Y/N, knowing him better than anyone, had planned something special for him this year. Something small, something just for the two of them.

The house was quiet as Y/N finished the last touches in the kitchen. She'd spent the afternoon preparing a few of Logan's favorite dishes, the aroma of home-cooked food filling the air. The cake sat on the counter, freshly baked and frosted, waiting for its moment. Everything was set for a simple, cozy evening—exactly what she knew he would appreciate.

Y/N smiled to herself as she turned off the stove, wiping her hands on a towel. The sun was beginning to set, casting a warm golden glow through the windows, and she knew Logan would be home soon. She wanted everything to be perfect, so she hurried upstairs to get ready.

After a relaxing bath, she took her time getting dressed, slipping into a sleek black dress that hugged her curves in all the right places. She applied a touch of makeup, just enough to highlight her features, and let her hair fall naturally. The final result was simple yet elegant, and as she looked at herself in the mirror, she hoped Logan would like it.

She glanced at the clock—he'd be home any minute now. With a deep breath, Y/N made her way back downstairs, slipping into the kitchen to wait for him. The anticipation made her heart race a little faster, excitement bubbling up inside her. This was for him, for the man who meant everything to her, and she couldn't wait to see his reaction.

The sound of the front door opening broke the silence, and Y/N heard the familiar creak of his boots as Logan stepped inside. Her heart skipped a beat as she peeked around the corner, watching him shrug off his jacket and drape it over a chair. He looked tired, but the kind of tired that came after a long, satisfying day.

"Y/N?" Logan called out, his voice echoing through the quiet house as he made his way to the kitchen. "You home, darlin'?"

Y/N's smile widened as she positioned herself behind the counter, the cake in her hands. She could hear him approaching, his footsteps slow and steady. Just as he reached the kitchen, she sprang up from behind him, holding the cake with a grin.

"Surprise!! Happy Birthday!!" she exclaimed, her voice bright with joy.

Logan stopped in his tracks, a look of surprise flashing across his face before it softened into a warm smile. He glanced at the cake, then back at her, his eyes filled with something she couldn't quite place. "You did all this for me?"

"Of course," Y/N replied, her smile unwavering. "I wanted to make today special for you."

Logan's gaze lingered on her, taking in the sight of her in that dress, her hair, the way her eyes sparkled with happiness. He stepped closer, leaning down to press a gentle kiss on top of her head. "Thank you, darlin'. Means a lot."

He blew out the candles, the soft flicker of light extinguishing with a single breath. Setting the cake on the table, Logan turned back to her, his expression shifting from gratitude to something more intense. His eyes roamed over her, appreciating every detail, every curve.

"So, how was—" Y/N began, but her words were cut short as Logan suddenly scooped her up with ease, lifting her onto the kitchen counter. She let out a small yelp of surprise, her hands instinctively gripping his shoulders as he positioned himself between her legs.

His hands rested on either side of her, his body close enough that she could feel the heat radiating from him. There was a playful smirk on his lips, a mischievous glint in his eyes that made her heart race.

"Can I eat my birthday present now?" Logan asked, his voice low and rough, full of desire.

Y/N felt a blush creep up her cheeks, her breath catching as she met his gaze. There was no mistaking the hunger in his eyes, the way he looked at her like she was the only thing in the world that mattered. It was a look she'd seen before, but tonight it was different—more intense, more consuming.

"Logan," she whispered, her voice trembling slightly as her fingers traced the lines of his chest through his shirt. "You haven't even had your cake yet."

"Cake can wait," he murmured, leaning in closer, his lips brushing against her ear. "I've got somethin' sweeter right here."

Y/N's breath hitched as he trailed soft kisses along her jawline, his hands sliding up her thighs, pulling her closer to the edge of the counter. The feel of his rough hands against her skin sent shivers down her spine, and she couldn't help the soft gasp that escaped her lips.

"Logan," she breathed, her fingers tangling in his hair as he kissed his way down her neck, each touch sending sparks of electricity through her body.

He pulled back slightly, just enough to look into her eyes, his hands framing her face. "You look beautiful, Y/N," he said softly, his voice full of sincerity. "Thank you for this... for everything."

Her heart swelled with emotion as she looked up at him, seeing the raw honesty in his eyes. "You're welcome," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "I'm glad you like it."

"I don't just like it," he replied, his lips curling into a smirk as he leaned in to kiss her deeply, his hands pulling her even closer. "I love it."

Y/N melted into the kiss, her arms wrapping around his neck as she gave in to the warmth and passion between them. The rest of the world faded away, leaving just the two of them in that moment, wrapped up in each other.

Logan's hands roamed over her body, exploring every inch of her, while his kisses grew more fervent, more demanding. She responded in kind, her own desires rising to the surface, her body aching for his touch.

"Happy birthday, Logan," she murmured against his lips, her voice full of affection and longing.

"Best birthday ever," he replied, his voice thick with emotion as he kissed her again, deeper this time, as if he couldn't get enough of her.

And in that quiet kitchen, surrounded by the warmth of home and the love they shared, Logan and Y/N celebrated his birthday in the best way possible—together, lost in each other, and knowing that this was all they ever needed.
