*Your pov*
I sat at the shore of a big pond surrounded by huge stone walls and boulders. Right ahead of me, vast woods stretched out. I gazed at the water; it was a clear, turquoise color, with gray fish swimming around jauntily.
-Breakfast time!- I heard a voice shout.
I looked up to see Naruto and his shadow clones, ready to jump in the mere.
-Shadow clone fishing jutsu! Bounce away!- all of them yelled before diving into the water.
As the clones tried to catch the fish, some of the animals jumped out of the lake, making a perfect opportunity to strike at them.
A dark-haired boy waited in the corner, getting ready for the right moment, and threw three kunai in their direction, pinning them to a tree trunk.
I thought for a moment I felt him looking at me, but that feeling quickly went away.
Naruto emerged from the pond, breathing heavily. He stared at the ravenette with an annoyed expression.
-Well?- Sasuke started- Come on, is that it? I only got three! Now go and do it again!
-What?!- Naruto exclaimed, growling at him angrily.
-I could eat three fish myself- the black-haired boy continued.
-Well, if you think it's that easy, why don't you get wet, and I'll stand on the shore!- the blond yelled while flailing his arms aggressively.
-Sasuke, don't be like that- I murmured nonchalantly- Naruto's doing his best!- I turned to the blue-eyed boy- Good job, Naruto-kun! Would you mind catching some more fish?
The yellow-haired genin started blushing madly, while Sasuke glared at the boy.
-Y-yeah! N-no problem, Ruri-chan!- Naruto replied sheepishly.
-Thank you- I smiled brightly.
This seemed to make Sasuke even more furious.
-Ruri-chan!- a high-pitched voice called out- The fire's ready to light; I could use one of your fireballs!
-Coming!

We all sat near a campfire; a stack of wood gently lay on the stone ground. The fish took on a warm brown color, fire outlining their scales.
-It's already been three days since the second exam began- Sasuke spoke up.
-That's right- Sakura murmured, conflicted.
-We're sure not gonna break any records- the ravenette uttered with a serious look on his face- We only have two days left...
-I wonder how many of the other teams have already got their scrolls and finished- the rose-haired girl uttered.
I couldn't say anything, mentally blaming myself for our slacking off. If it weren't for me, we might have already passed the exam...
Sasuke looked at me from the corner of his eye.
-Ruri, you don't have to blame yourself- he started.
I turned to look at him, surprise showing on my face.
-If it weren't for you, we would've probably already failed.
I widened my eyes, and after a moment, a genuine smile formed on my lips.
-Thanks, Sasuke.
The boy turned away from me, his cheeks growing bright red. I chuckled at his antics.
