fate chapter 13 💫🤍
a few short days later, because jay had to go back to work. but he and nick still talked every day. whether that was through facetime, calls, or texts.
tonight, jay was, again, going to nicks for dinner. as per usual he dressed up in an outfit, nothing too fancy. he slipped on his shoes, grabbed his phone, keys, and headed out the door.
when he arrived at nicks place, he let himself in, as nick said he could do so. he climbed the stairs and knocked on nicks door.
"come in." mumbling was heard. jay opened nicks door, and shut it, then jumping on the bed, scaring nick.
"you fucker!"
laughter spilled out of jay's mouth, while nick glared at him. "i hate you." nick said. "no, you don't!" jay giggled.
"okay, fine. before you scared me half to death, i picked out our flights."
"yay!"
"i wouldn't get too excited yet, our flights are at 2:53 am tomorrow."
"that's okay!" jay exclaimed excitedly.
"also, my parents are so excited to meet you! matt and chris blabbed about you."
"i'm excited to meet them, and to add another state to my list!"
"you nerd!" nick laughed.
"shut up!" jay replied back.
before any more insults were thrown at each other, matt called them for dinner.
"dinner you two!"
"coming!" nick yelled back.
"care to finish this later?" nick asked.
"yup, now let's go see what matt made!" jay excitedly said, and rushed down the stairs. "hey! wait for me!" nick said, and chased after him.
