fate chapter 24 💫🤍
nick wakes up around 7 am, which is fairly early for him. he sees that jay is sleeping right beside him, but nick wants to explore a bit.
nick leaves jay's room, going down the stairs to the kitchen. nick finds jay's mom, making breakfast, and a lot of it.
"do you need any help?" nick asked.
"well, good morning, you must be nick."
"oh sorry, good morning, and yeah i am."
"let me tell you, jay really loves you, as a mom i can tell."
"wow, really?" nick asked.
"mhm, a mom knows when her son is in love, it's natural." jay's mom, laughs softly.
"mommy!" a little voice is heard.
nick sees a little girl, run over to jay's mom. "what you doing mommy?" the little girl asked.
"oh you know, breakfast, and talking with nick." she tells the little girl.
the little girl looks over to nick, and waves. nick waves back, offering a small smile.
"what's your name?" nick asks.
"i'm ava!" the little girl exclaims.
"well it's very nice to meet you." nick gives a small smile.
"do you like jay?" ava asks nick.
nick is taken aback by this question, of course he likes jay, that's his whole world.
"of course i like jay." nick says.
"no, do you love him?" she asks.
nick was struck with this question. he believes that he loves jay, jay hasn't said anything to him about it.
"ava! your favorite cartoon is on!" another voice was heard, snapping nick out of his thoughts. ava runs to the living room, and plopping down on the couch.
nick still stands in the kitchen, he hears the group of kids start running down the stairs.
"looks like everyone's up." nick said.
"that's what happens with 7 kids." jay's mom chimes in.
nick watches the kids all come downstairs, including jay, who's already dressed and ready. nick looks down and he's still in pajamas.
nick changes, and comes back downstairs, jay's waiting for him. "morning nick!" jay said, pecking nick on the lips.
nick connected their lips, deepening it, "morning." he said.
"breakfast date?" jay asked.
"with me? i thought we were eating here?"
"yes, you! c'mon i know a great little cafe! please nick!" jay whined, showing puppy dog eyes.
"fine, but this place better be good."
"and then after breakfast, we can do anything you want." jay said.
"anything?"
"yes, anything for you nick."
