◇ Akira's POV: ◇

I can't seem to forget how Blake's arms were wrapped around me as he rushed me to the infirmary.

Not a good reason to be carried but still.

Being carried was kinda embarrassing, having everyone watch, but nonetheless, I liked the way his arms were wrapped around me.

It was more embarrassing when he was helping me into my class and my seat though.

"Blake! I can walk to my class by myself. Go to your class, you already missed enough for me." I try to get him to go.

"Nope, I'm helping you get to class because technically it's my fault that you're injured and Adrianna is targeting you."

"How-, How is it your fault?" I turn to him and eye him carefully.

"Because. Now stop worrying about me and focus on getting you to class," he says without looking at me.

"Blake. Look at me," he slowly turns his head towards me, "It's not your fault, okay? It's no one's fault but Adrianna's and don't blame yourself, or else I'll start punching you."

His face immediately brightens up as he grins, "Okay okay. But punching me? Seriously?"

"Yep," I say with a proud face.

"Like you can even land a punch." He sticks his tongue out.

It's such a childish move but I love it. I love this side of him, it only comes out when he is around people he knows well and is comfortable with.

"Underestimating me, I see?" I wiggle my eyebrows.

"Pshh, yeah."

I fake an exaggerated gasp, "How dare you?" I joke.

I fake punch him, and he fakes a hurt face.

"Oh c'mon, you can hit better than that, can't you?" He asks.

"Uh, not really..." I mumble.

"...I'm going to teach you how to defend yourself next time."

"Uhm, okay," I remarked.

We stayed in a relaxing silence till we reached my classroom.

"Okay, bye," I rush out, about to head to the door, when suddenly Blake's hand stops in front of me.

I raise an eyebrow, "What are you doing?"

"Escorting you to class." And with that, he lightly pushes me forward and takes us into the classroom together.

The whole class looks up, including the teacher, who asks, "Oh, Akira. You're finally here. And...is that Blake?"

I timidly nod, and hand over the nurse's note excusing my absence.

Blake took me to my table, after which I told him which one when he didn't want to leave.

The whole class is watching our encounter, making me turn red in the ears and cheeks.

I whisper, "You can go now, Blake."

He smiles, and then the teacher says, "Blake Woods. To your class, now. You don't have a late slip nor a nurse's note."

Blake's smile drops slightly, and without turning, gives the teacher the bird behind his back.
