to see you, to feel you

THE LOVELY KINGDOM of Corona was lively as ever. Everyone was rushing around, decorating and baking for the week of the Queen's birthday.

Claire was back home for the occasion.

She was growing tired of all the chaos within the castle preparing it for the celebration.

To get away from it all Claire wandered out through the hustle and bustle of the town, helping her people along the way.

She'd already helped one person carry bags of flower, worked with another lady make flower garlands and handed lanterns to a man on a high latter for him to hang.

As she came to a fountain, Claire came across of ground a younger girls who practically begged to do her hair. Which she of course let them.

Claire sat on a blanket the girls laid out as they all worked around her adding loads of flowers to her braid as added the finishing touches.

Looking behind Claire the smallest girl, Mavis asked, "is he your boyfriend?"

Having noticed the figure walking towards them, Claire asked "who?"

"King Ben."

The girls 'oh' all wanting to know too. For a group of six year old girls who'd never been to Auradon they were all in on the drama.

"Sort of," Claire shrugged.

Her and Ben were broken up at the moment but she knew in due time they'd get back together.

It wasn't like she could forget about him.

Everyday a new bouquet of enchanted flowers were delivered to her sighed 'your beast.' Ben had fairy godmother cast a spell on them so they never wilted. Her room was full of them. The bouquets were starting to flow out into the hall.

She even considered giving some of them out but she couldn't get herself to part with them.

"Sort of?" Another one of the girls asked confused.

"What's that mean?" Asked a little brunette tilting her head.

"That we're broken up at the moment."

"You broken up!?" Olive, the girl in leave with Claire's ear screeched.
