"It's time for the final showdown!" Lysandre declares. "And this will be a showdown to determine the future for all trainers and Pokemon alike."
"Lysandre! What did you do to Serena?!" I asked as I glared at him and Calem.
"Oh, her? We brainwashed her, so now she is fighting on our side." Calem said.
I looked towards Serena and I can see the lifeless look in her eyes. It seems like the only way for us to save Serena from their control, is to defeat them in this final showdown. I just hope the others can get here soon enough.
"Fine! If it's a battle you want, it's a battle you get!" I said as I looked at them.
Lysandre smirked even more.
"There you go, Ash! Go ahead and get mad!" Lysandre said. "Use that rage in this final showdown against me!"
"You bet I will!"
But then, May placed her hand on my back, trying her best to comfort me.
"Ash, no need to get angry. That's just what he wants you to do."
May is right... getting angry isn't what's going to get her back, but still... Just seeing her in this state is enough to make me mad.
"Serena, Calem, how about we introduce these two to our newly acquired weapons."
Calem and Serena nodded as they pulled out two Pokeballs. Why do I have a feeling I know what they are, though.
