Great Hall, Dec. 18

Daphne was eating her dinner when an owl came to her with a sapphire envelope. Seeing the envelop, Astrid and Kylee looked at each other and hid their smiles with their cups.

"Who is it from?" Tracey asked.

"Mm, no forward address," replied Daphne as she took the letter while Millicent gave some food to the owl before it took off.

"Wait! Are you sure it's safe to open it?" Pansy said, eyeing at the sapphire envelope. "You don't know if that is a prank from the Weasley twins."

"Oh, you just say that cause the twins and Nyla always prank you," stated Millie.

Pansy just gritted her teeth before glaring at the blond witch. "So, what sort of new prank did you and those lion devils make this time?!"

Nyla frowned, "That's none of your business, pig face," as she looked at the envelope, "But what I can tell ya is that either me or the twins send this…it's to elegant."

Daphne titled her head before opening the envelope. The moment it was opened, fairy dust came out from it and spun around Daphne before disappearing. The dust itself became different colors that glow brightly on her hair and robes.

Suddenly, a voice came out of the letter:

Fallen princess, I have some to ask you if you would like to be my date for this year's Yule Ball. Come to the astronomy tower where I'll be waiting.

Astrid smirked, "Well, what do you know. Didn't Jack do this exact same thing to this girl last year for our Yule Ball?"

Lelouch and Yuki nodded while Jack just blushed.

"So then, what's the deal with the dust?" Daphne asked.

"Well, for one, this is a common tradition to ask a girl out at Salem," started Yuki.

"And that is no ordinary dust, it's fairy dust from a rare fairy that has the ability to reveal your soulmate if the dust glows on each other," finished Lelouch.

The girls at the Slytherins table were in awe as they wished that someone would ask them out like that as well.

Daphne sighed, "Well then, I guess I better head to the tower to find out who asked me out."

Tracey and the other girls gave her a thumbs up before she got up and walked out of the hall. Meanwhile, Pansy had a dreamy look on her face.

"I wish some fairy dust fallen on me and Draco. Then, for sure, it will show everyone that we are meant to be together."

"Just because you know Draco the longest doesn't mean that he will be your future husband," said Tracey.

Pansy frowned, "Of course it does. I know for a fact that he will be my husband. My mum and father assured me that one day I'll be Lady Malfoy."

Draco spit his drink out from his mouth, "Wha – What do you mean?! My parents said nothing of the sort!"

"Oh, stop messing around Draco," said Pansy sweetly and holding the blonde's arm, "I know you care about me and love me like I do."

"Would you let me go?" Draco was trying to push her off, "Irving! A little help here!"

"Pig's heart!" Irving said randomly. Within a second, an actual pig's heart appeared in front of Pansy's face. Her face turned to a disgust expression before letting go and dashed out of the hall while screaming.

Astrid and the others simply laughed while the other ones just shook their heads.

Meanwhile, Daphne just made it to the Astronomy tower. She went up and by the window there were some red and yellow flowers that looked as if they were on fire. It was shaped like clovers and right beside them were her favorite chocolates, wrapped around in a heart-shaped glass like box with a sapphire ribbon.
