Rimuru POV
1000 years have passed since I taught Ramiris her place and gained a new subordinate. During that time, I witnessed a spar between Ramiris and Feldway in his true body, which the latter won barely, and that was only thanks to his greater experience.
Had Ramiris had just a bit more experience at that moment, she would have surely emerged victorious against him.
Moreover, not long after Ramiris' birth, a new dragon manifested in the Central World. It was the manifestation of Chaos, which makes him capable of controlling the elements of Wind, Water, and Space. He was named Veldora by Lord Veldanava, and he had the power to control storms.
Nonetheless, he exhibited an undeniable restlessness that drove him to wander aimlessly and unleash a wave of destruction. I was about to stop him, but Lord Veldanava intervened, saying that we should give him time to settle himself in this world before disciplining him gently, a sentiment not shared by the two Dragon sisters, especially Velzard.
The two constantly debated and fought over how to discipline the young dragon. While Velgrynd wished to spoil him as much as possible, she would occasionally beat him up to a pulp whenever he went a bit too far.
However, Velzard was more unnecessarily harsh. Rather than trying to reason or actually teach him to stop rampaging, she went out of her way to kill him so that whenever he would be resurrected, his personality would be somewhat withered, making him refrain from rampaging around the Central World.
This plan didn't succeed, as Veldora continued to spread havoc, which led to Velzard killing him constantly. Since dragons were immortal and couldn't die completely, as they were the holy wills of nature and were considered as Lord Veldanava's siblings, they would always reincarnate if they were to be killed. Hence, it didn't bother her whenever she killed him.
To be honest though, I doubt that she would be bothered even if he died permanently, considering her severe lack of empathy.
Anyway, a thousand years have passed, and I am starting to get annoyed by all of this.
I then knocked on the door to Lord Veldanava's chamber in the Heavenly Star Palace.
Veldanava: "Come in." He ordered, after which I entered room and kneeled before him.
Veldanava: "Oh Rimuru. What is it that you wish to talk to me about?" He asked as he set his divine gaze at me.
Rimuru: "My lord, I wish to seek permission of something from you." I stated as i kept my head low, my voice calm and low. Even though I wasn't directly looking at him, I could tell through [Universal Perception] that he seemed interested at hearing my words.
Veldanava: "Oh? Now that is very unusual of you. Tell me, what do you ask for, Rimuru." He asked with a small smile on his face. I then turn my head up as I looked at him.
Rimuru: "I wish to seek permission to train and discipline Veldora as a way to control his rampages as well as to save him from his sisters' wrath." I replied as he dawned a thinking pose while pondering over my words.
Veldanava: "Hmm, I remember telling you not to intervene in his growth, but seeing how Velzard and Velgrynd are acting towards him, I guess it would be best for me to leave him in your hands..." He replied as looked at with the calm smile he always wears.
Veldanava: "Alright, I give you permission. Make sure to set him right without treating him too harshly." He commanded, making me smile slightly as I stood up.
Rimuru: "As you wish, my lord." I replied before exiting the room.
I then headed towards where Veldora currently was; since I had [Universal Perception], I had no problem finding him.
