Myron Malcohm Beckles was just an ordinary teenager living a typical 21st-century life-until one fateful day when a car accident changed everything. Instead of darkness, he found himself waking up in a strange world: the Taisho era in Japan, a perio...
Three months had passed since Myron began his training with Rengoku. The once unfamiliar and intimidating routines had become second nature to him, and his skills had grown significantly. He had also grown more comfortable with the strange but fascinating aspects of this new world, including the talking crows.
On a bright morning, Myron was up early, practicing his sword techniques with a focus and precision that reflected his hard work and dedication. His movements were fluid and powerful, each strike and block executed with increasing confidence.
As he finished his morning practice, he noticed Rengoku waving at him from the main house. Myron dropped his sword and ran back inside, curiosity piqued. He hurried through the corridors, his heart racing with anticipation. As he entered the main room, he saw Rengoku standing next to a boy who looked just like Rengoku but younger, wearing white kimono and blue hakama pants.

"Young Beckles, I'd like you to meet my younger brother. His name is Senjuro," Rengoku said with a proud smile.
Senjuro stepped forward and bowed slightly. "It's nice to meet you, Myron. My brother has told me a lot about you."
Myron returned the bow with a smile. "Nice to meet you too, Senjuro. Rengoku talks about you a lot as well. He's really proud of you."
Senjuro blushed slightly, looking pleased. "Thank you. I've been looking forward to meeting you. Brother says you're training really hard."
Myron nodded. "Yeah, it's been tough, but I've learned a lot. Your brother is an amazing teacher."
Rengoku placed a hand on each of their shoulders, beaming. "I'm glad you two have met. Senjuro, Myron has been making incredible progress. Perhaps one day, you two can train together."
Senjuro's eyes lit up with excitement. "I'd like that. Maybe I can learn a few things from you too, Myron."
Myron grinned. "I'd be happy to train with you, Senjuro. We can both learn from each other."
Rengoku clapped his hands together. "Excellent! Now, how about we have breakfast together? It's a good day to start with a hearty meal and then some training."
As they sat down for breakfast, the atmosphere was filled with camaraderie and warmth. They shared stories and laughed, enjoying the simple pleasure of each other's company. Myron felt a deep sense of belonging and family, something he had missed from his old world.
After breakfast, Rengoku suggested a joint training session. "Senjuro, why don't you join us today? It will be good practice for both of you."
Senjuro nodded eagerly. "Yes, Brother!"
They moved to the training grounds, and Rengoku guided them through various exercises. Myron and Senjuro worked side by side, their movements synchronized and supportive. Rengoku watched with pride, offering tips and encouragement.
