☆Johnnie's Nightmare☆

Jake was sound asleep until he started to feel Johnnie moving around next to him, causing him to wake up.

He yawned and opened his eyes, looking over at Johnnie who seemed to be having a bad dream.

"Hey, hey.." Jake whispered, gently shaking Johnnie's shoulder.

Johnnie was still in the middle of his nightmare, tears streaming down his face. He was shaking and crying, mumbling things in his sleep.

Jake watched as his boyfriend struggled in his sleep, feeling a pang of sadness and concern. He reached out and gently grabbed Johnnie's hand, trying to comfort him.

Johnnie gripped Jake's hand tightly, his breathing still heavy and labored. He continued to mumble in his sleep, the words barely audible.

"No...please..stop..don't leave me.." He cried out, his body trembling even more.

"Baby," Jake says softly as he used his other hand and lightly shakes Johnnie. "Hey. Hey? C'mon,"

Johnnie's eyes slowly opened, and he looked at Jake with a mixture of fear and relief. He was still crying, his body still shaking slightly from the nightmare.

"J-Jake.." He whispered, his voice shaking.

"Hey, babe what's going on?" Jake asked softly as he wiped away Johnnie's tears.

Johnnie took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. He looked at Jake with wide eyes, still feeling shaken up from the nightmare.

"I had a bad dream..it was really scary.." He mumbled, sniffling softly.

"C'mere," Jake opened up his arms as he feels Johnnie climb up and into them. "Do you want to talk about it?"

Johnnie nodded, wrapping his arms around Jake and burying his face in his chest. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down.

"I-I dreamt that you left me..and I was all alone..and I didn't know what to do.." He whispered, his voice trembling.

Jake rubs Johnnie's back. "Hey, look at me please." As he cupped Johnnie's face in his hands.

Johnnie looked up at Jake, his eyes still filled with tears. He sniffled and tried to compose himself, feeling vulnerable and fragile in that moment.

"Why were you dream something like that? I'll never leave you. You know, without you - I don't know what I'd do. You make my life so much better with you in it, Johnnie. You're scaring me, - I don't like seeing you upset like this." Jake replied.

Johnnie's lip quivered as he listened to Jake's words. He knew that Jake was being sincere, but the fear from the nightmare still lingered in his mind.

"I-I know..but sometimes I just can't help but think that you'll get tired of me and leave.." He admitted quietly, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Hey," Jake pulled Johnnie closer and pecks his lips. He pulled back And locked eyes with Johnnie. "I'm not ever gonna get tired, or bored, or not motivated to see you or anything like that. In fact, you make me so much happier that you're here with me. You know that? With you by my side, I don't feel as lonely anymore. I felt alone before i met you, i felt like - i had nobody, but with you being here, being my best friend, being my god damn boyfriend, - it just- makes me feel okay."

Johnnie's eyes welled up with tears again as he listened to Jake's heartfelt words. He hugged him tightly, burying his face in the crook of Jake's neck.

"I love you so much, Jake.." He whispered, his voice cracking slightly."I don't know what I'd do without you either..you make me feel safe and loved..and I never want to lose that feeling.."
