Jake noticed that Johnnie hasn't been his usual happy self lately. He knows Johnnie is going through a depressed episode.

He walks upstairs towards Johnnie's room. "Johnnie?" He said at the door. "I know you don't want to show yourself to the world right now but i got you some pizza to help you feel better," He sets the box of pizza in front of Johnnie's door.

Johnnie had been sitting on his bed, just staring at the wall in silence. He heard Jake's voice and the sound of the pizza box being placed in front of his door.

He slowly got up and walked over to the door, picking up the pizza box."Thanks, man." He said, his voice soft and tired. He sounded a little down.

"Yeah it was from my stream earlier, it's pretty good pizza," Jake smiled reassuringly as he swayed on his feet side to side. "Do you want me to come in with you or do you still want to be left alone?"

Johnnie hesitated for a moment, debating whether he wanted company or not. But then he thought that maybe it would be nice to have someone there with him.

"You can come in." He said quietly, opening the door a little bit.

"Ok" Jake smiled as he entered the room with Johnnie. "jeez someones a vampire," be says jokingly and turned the light on.

Johnnie squinted at the sudden brightness, having been sitting in the dark for so long.

He rolled his eyes at Jake's comment and sat back down on the bed, setting the pizza box down beside him."Ha ha, very funny." He said sarcastically, but there was a hint of a smile on his face.

Jake nodded, "Try the pizza, its gooood" he sits down on the bed next to Johnnie and smiled.

Johnnie opened the pizza box and took a slice. He took a bite and his eyes widened slightly.

"Damn, this is good." He said, surprised by how delicious it was. He took another bite and then looked at Jake.

"You're not just trying to cheer me up, are you?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

Jake side eyes Johnnie for a moment before he cleared his throat. "And so what if i am? thats what friends do. What's going on in that head of yours?"

*Johnnie sighed and looked down at the pizza slice in his hand.*

"I don't know. I just feel... empty. Like there's nothing worth living for." He said, his voice barely above a whisper.

He looked back up at Jake, his eyes filled with sadness."It's like I'm drowning and I can't find a way out."

Jake's smile immediately faded. His eyes expressing concern. "Johnnie, you shouldn't keep these feelings to yourself you know. You have me or Carrington to talk to. We're here for ya. I love ya."

Johnnie looked at Jake, his expression softening."I know, I know. It's just hard to talk about it. I feel like I'm burdening you guys with my problems."He paused for a moment, taking another bite of pizza."I love you too, man. I really do."

"Ay," Jake pulled Johnnie into a hug. "you're not a burden or a bother for feeling like that. You know? I love you so much dude, you really brighten up my days. Just by being here. So don't fucking think like that. I want you here."

Johnnie hugged Jake back tightly, feeling a mix of emotions. He was grateful for his friend's support, but he still felt like a burden.
"Thanks, man. I just don't want to be a burden on anyone. You guys have already done so much for me."

He pulled away from the hug and looked at Jake with a small smile."I'll try not to think like that, but it's hard sometimes."

"I get it, Johnnie. Trust me i do." Jake sets his hands onto Johnnie's shoulders as he is looking at him. "But i promise you, you're not a burden. You're amazing, and i really appreciate you in my life. I just wish you felt that way about yourself. You deserve life. Besides, we're all gonna die one day, we just have to be patient," he laughed a bit, "so, that was stupid- but you uh get the point. I want you to be here with me, until we die. I want to die with you Johnnie."

Johnnie chuckled at Jake's comment, feeling a little bit better. He looked at him with a grateful expression.

"Thanks, man. That means a lot to me. I want to be here with you too, until the end. I just wish I could shake off these negative thoughts."

He sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
"It's like they're constantly there Jake, no matter how hard I try to ignore them."

"Well sometimes our brains think stupid crap," Jake smiled as he hugged Johnnie's head. "This brain of yours needs to shut the hell up then," he laughed.

Johnnie chuckled again, feeling a little bit more relaxed."Yeah, I guess you're right. My brain is a real jerk sometimes."

He leaned into the hug, feeling comforted by Jake's presence."Thanks for being here for me, man. I don't know what I'd do without you."

"Of course what'd think about the pizza was it good?" Jake asked as he pulled away from the hug.

Johnnie took another bite of the pizza, savoring the flavor.

"It's definitely good. You weren't lying about that." He said with a small smile.
"I don't know if I can eat the whole thing though. I'm not really hungry."

"That's fine you don't have too, we can save it for leftovers. I'm sure Carrington will eat it up" Jake laughed as he grabbed the box. "wanna come with me downstairs or do you want me to come back up?"

Johnnie thought for a moment, contemplating whether he wanted to go downstairs or not. He knew he needed to get out of his room, but the thought of leaving made him feel a little anxious.

"I'll come downstairs with you. I think I need to get out of this room for a bit."

"Alright, c'mon then Johnnie" Jake smiled as he carried the pizza box downstairs. Johnnie following behind.

Jake puts the box in the kitchen's fridge and shuts the fridge door. He feels Johnnie hug him from behind.

Johnnie hugged Jake tightly from behind, feeling a sense of comfort in his friend's presence.

He buried his face into Jake's shoulder, feeling a little vulnerable."Thanks for being so understanding and patient with me, man." He said softly.

"Of course man," Jake turned around and hugged Johnnie. "whenever you're thinking like that, please let me know. I want to be there for you. I want to make you feel better."

Johnnie nodded, hugging Jake back just as tightly."I will. I promise. I don't want to keep you in the dark about how I'm feeling."

He pulled away from the hug and looked at Jake with a small smile."You really are the best friend a guy could ask for, you know that?"

"Ay i try" Jake smiled and shrugged, "C'mon lets go hangout in the movie room"

Johnnie chuckled and nodded.
"Sounds good to me. Let's go."

He followed Jake to the movie room, feeling a little more relaxed and less burdened than before.

Johnnie and Jake hung out in the movie room, watching movies and laughing together.

Johnnie felt grateful for Jake's support and knew that he was lucky to have such a great friend by his side.

He vowed to continue to lean on Jake whenever he needed to, knowing that he would always be there for him.
