omega at Hogwarts

As we were unable to go for a run the night of the attack me and the twins went the following night. I think my insistence on going out triggers something in my mates as they all now seem to be determined to also become animagi much to my pleasure. 

me and my twins head into the forest and shift all three of us shaking out our fur and I once again admire my two tails.

We take off at a run through the trees enjoying the wind whipping through our fur. My mates let me race ahead so they can chase after me causing me to let our a happy yip.

I make sure to avoid all of the areas I know are dangerous while still ensuring we have our fun. we keep going until we come across the lake. the surface is completely still despite the creatures inhabiting the water and the moon and stars are reflected perfectly inside of it. 

We lay down at the waters surface for a bit before we continue our run. we're having fun until the ground underneath my paws shifts and I am suddenly falling. I feel something tackle into me from the side and when I open my eyes again I am surrounded by black fur. 

I move away and go to stand only for my back left leg to give out on me causing me to fall. My head doesn't hit the ground however as the creature that saved me gently bites my neck holding it up before gently lowering my only the ground. 

I shift so I can see the larger creature and find a large shaggy black dog with grey eyes. I hear my mates come closer and the beast responds with a growl, shifting itself so it is standing over me in a protective stance. 

My mates freeze and look at each other before shifting back into their human forms. The beast above me doesn't show any surprise at this change and simply continues to growl. "Baby can you walk?" Fred asks and i whine and shake my head, shock starting to wear off as the pain sets in. Instead I roll over onto my back and keep rolling till I am out from under the beast. 

When I am back on my front I look up at the beast and find it's head facing towards me tilted to the side the same way a puppy does. I shift back into human form and reach up to pet the oversized dog. "Thankyou for saving me boy." I say in a strained voice as I run my fingers through his fur. The dog flops down to the ground allowing me easier access. "See aint no reason to be scared." At my words the twins come closer and inspect my leg. 

"I think it's broken." George supplies and i nod as the tears start. "We need to get you to the hospital wing." I nod again now crying properly. George gently picks me up as Fred gently pets the dog before we are heading back through the woods in human form. When we reach the castle we head straight to the medical wing and Madam Pomfrey promptly mends the broken bone and torn flesh and after some questioning, i fell down the stairs in our story, she sent us off to our room to bed. 

The other's are up when we get back and I get to enjoy them all fussing over me when they hear what happened. "Hey Draco?" Fred asks. "If madam Pomfrey was able to fix Ari's broken bone that quickly how come she weren't able to fix your arm. unless of course she did and you are just playing it up." 

"No I aint." Draco practically shouts back causing the rest of us to laugh. 

"I don't care if he is faking or not, I'm just glad we're all okay." I say and I burrow myself in my nest. 

"I aint faking." Draco mumbles as he lays down beside me. 

"Of course not." I say followed with a quick peck to the lips before closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep.
