Dante was once again on the roof with lady

Dante: so where were you yesterday?

Lady smirks: aww did you miss me?

Dante: uh nope, just curious

Lady: I had a family thing, don't worry about it

They sat their in a comfortable silence until the bell rang

They went back to class and the day went on as normal

Dante was skating on his way back to his apartment picking up the pace a little, he gets to the building and could swear he felt someone watching him

But he ignored it and walked into the building

He threw his backpack aside and sighed

Dante: ugh another annoying day

He goes onto his room to watch some tv and opens the window and then something flies at him which he catches

He looks down and see that it's an arrow with a note attached

Dante sighed: we have texting now you know?

He sits down and unwraps the note

It reads

The is a letter of challenge to the demon hunter

If I am correct in assuming this arrow didn't kill you, then you'll be alive to take this challenge

If you are if you are still confused I want to fight you, So go on and get stronger, the match will be in three days, in this location, if you are not there, then I will come and find you

Now take these three days, get as strong as possible, then come to the location, No weapons are allowed but everything else is

Dante closes the note and sends it to fury who quickly responds

Fury: I guess you need to go and get stronger, I'll inform Nat as soon as possible

Dante: good

We cut to Dante in the training area

Natasha: so you've got a big fight coming up

Dante: yeah, and I need to get even stronger

Natasha: in that case, you can heal yourself right?

Dante nods

Natasha: in that case prepare to be pushed to your limits

And Dante was

He lifted insane weights for hours on end, he fought Natasha for hours, he trained to be able to use his entire body, to get it stronger

Natasha: well that's your next training if whatever this is makes you stronger, then you need to keep trying to get it

Natasha: ok the the first day is over, we will rest for five hours and then right back to training

Five hours later

They are right back to training, this time the weights share heavier, the mediation sessions longer, the sparing tougher, he was forced to run on a treadmill until he physically couldn't anymore

And he did he ran and then fell over and was then ordered to get right back up and jumped onto the machine again and kept running, feeling himself breaking through all the walls in front of him

Then after over 24 hours of straight training

Natasha: ok you can rest now, let your body heal up

Dante: I don't feel any stronger

Natasha: of course you don't, but when your body has repaired itself you will, trust me, now get some rest

Dante found a rest area in the base and then flopped on the bed and fell asleep

It was a while until he woke up

But he woke up on the day of the challenge, healed and ready to go

He jumped out of the bed, he was then flown to the location, which was a filed in the middle of nowhere

Dante jumped out of the plane and landed right in front of Akaza

Akaza: Hey

Dante: Hey, I'm here like you told me

Akaza: you sure are, I wasn't sure if you'd arrive

Dante: well I have

Akaza: first prove yourself

Dante sighed and opened his jacket revealing no weapons what so ever

Akaza: Good 'he takes a fighting stance' then let's do this

Dante: I'm guessing the rules are pretty simple

Akaza: it couldn't be anymore simple, fight to the death, one of us leaves, the other doesn't

Dante: fine, bring it!

Akaza launches his shockwave fist and Dante smacks it aside and rushes in dealing a heavy blow to the demon's stomach

Akaza: you've improved! I like that!

Akaza kicks Dante in the stomach sending him skidding back

They both stare each other down until they rush at each other
