7. Nothing New

Would you want me again even when I'm nothing new?
Few bottles in with my friends and my head counts few;
All my time wasted and all of our smiles turned gated
Would you still want me if all we ever had has fainted?

Bustling cities and busy crowds tend to remind
All our interactions were usually hard to find
I called you at midnight when it was your birthday
You called me in the afternoon when I was done crying

What would've been our wedding vows and rings
Turned to miscommunications and unhealthy clingings
Nothing is new with me, but would you still run to me?
Would you still carry me, and let your busy world be?

Would you still want me if I'm nothing new?
When I still can't tell between colours and hue,
If I bruise my knee and my mind crashes down?
And there you'll stand again to see my face in frown?
