3. Peace

I hope my absence gives you the peace my love couldn't.
Talking with you was a promise I told myself I wouldn't.
All of my letters and poems are addressed to the fire
Since eight months of silence must be one of your desire

If I can't please everyone I know,
Why should I expect something from you?
I've waited ever since the first fall of snow,
Now both of our heart has each other's residue

But you know I could never give you peace
Know you better than your friends at least
Picture on the frame with your face on the wall
Hindsight of my heart that chose you before them all
