But who am I to lie and make myself a fool?
I would've always chosen to never meet you at all
You've always been strange since the summer class
I should've trusted my guts to never let you passIt's not my responsibility to change you for the best
It was always my problem to ignore your awful past
I'd gauge the fabrics of time just to take myself;
From bumping into you, and stop what I've feltAnd I hope this is the only lifetime we'd meet,
It's pathetic to have my heart be broken in another lifetime
By the same hands, the same heart beat,
The same mind thinking you're my lifelineI would've chosen to save myself,
If I was only a book you wouldn't read in a bookshelf
You could've turned your direction to another
The same way dads do after becoming a cheater
