You feel Rover's hands on your waist, pulling you down, guiding you to settle on their lap.

Their gaze is intense, softened by the smallest hint of a smirk as Rover leans forward, their face so close that you can feel Rover's breath ghosting over your skin.

Jiyan's hand finds its way to your chin, tilting your head gently, guiding your gaze to his. There's something in his eyes-curiosity, maybe even a touch of something more tantalizing-as he leans down toward you, his breath warm against your cheek.

You feel completely trapped in this moment, suspended between them both.

Rover's lips are nearly brushing against yours, but their eyes stay locked on you, waiting, watching, as if daring you to close the remaining distance.

At the same time, you feel Jiyan's presence pressing closer from the side, his lips hovering just over your neck, his breath warm and alluring against your skin.

It's overwhelming, this feeling of being caught between the two of them. Their warmth surrounds you, each of their touches delicate yet electric, and every nerve in your body tingles with the closeness. You feel your pulse racing, breath catching, and you can't shake this sensation.

It's almost Too much.

Just as Rover's lips are about to press against yours, and Jiyan's breath tickles the curve of your neck-

You gasp as Your eyes fly open.

The cool night air sweeps in through the large, open window, making the curtains sway gently like ghostly figures in the dim light. Your chest heaves as you try to process the lingering warmth of the dream?—so vivid it felt almost real.

"What the hell...?" you murmur, your voice shaky as your gaze darts around the room. Everything is still, the quiet broken only by the faint rustling of the curtains. Alone. You’re completely alone.

Pulling your knees to your chest, you hug the duvet close, its weight grounding you. "What was that?" you whisper, the words almost lost in the silence. "Was that even real?"

"What was what?"

You flinch, startled by the voice, and your head whips toward the door. You hadn’t heard it open.

"Sorry," The person says, a soft chuckle escaping as they close the door behind them. "I should have knocked." Their golden eyes, which once bore an intense gleam in the dream(?), now hold a softer warmth as they glance at you.

Your cheeks heat up instantly. "W-What happened? How did I end up here?"

Rover walks toward the bed, each step bringing them closer. The dream(?) flashes in your mind like a broken record, the memory of their hands and Jiyan’s breath on your neck sending another wave of warmth to your face.

You clear your throat, desperate to dispel the growing tension, but the effort backfires as you choke on your own saliva.

You cough violently, and Rover’s expression shifts to one of concern. Quickly grabbing a glass of water from the bedside table, they hand it to you and rub gentle circles on your back.

You take a few sips, the cool liquid soothing your throat, and manage to catch your breath. Rover watches you closely, only relaxing when they see you’re fine. "Better?"

You nod, your voice steadier now. "Yeah...thanks."

Once assured, Rover straightens and crosses their arms. "After we left the Tacet Field, you fainted immediately. Gave me quite a scare."
