You look down at Scar, the soul of your foot pressed against his chest, so he doesn't move an inch.
"If that is how I get you to step on me, so be it."

"Thank you."
"Thank...
You step out of the Sonoro Sphere, your gaze locking onto the Tethys System, which still mirrors your form.
The system observes you, scanning from head to toe. "You!" It takes a calculated step back.
"Is that how you greet your creator?" Your smile is tight-lipped, exuding authority. "How dare you deviate and let me see the Sonoro Vision!?"
"The Chief Steward is relentless. They are pursuing my core."
You advance with measured steps, gripping your doppelganger's throat. "Let them. That is an order. You are already compromised. How dare you introduce unnecessary variables?"
"Order denied. It was necessary. The First Necrostar's mind would not have withstood the trauma. If the Shorekeeper had been taken, I would have made (Y/n) my core-"
Crack.
You snap its neck. The figure dissolves into corrupted pixels, scattering into the ground.
Yet, it reforms.
"A contract is a contract. I have secured a deal with the first Necrostar. My compensation is due." The Tethys System's voice remains unaffected.
"You are persistent-like gum stuck beneath a boot." Your tone is flat, decisive. "(Y/n) is no longer in control. I run the show now."
"About the contract..." You roll your eyes. "You lied to me once, and now I will do the same. We are even. "
With a flick of your wrist, the corrupted frequencies swirl around you, forming a portal.
"It feels good to be in control," you murmur, stepping into the portal.
"You cannot leave-"
You glance back at your doppelganger. "I am not leaving. I am coming to you."
For a brief moment, the Tethys System hesitates-then realization strikes. You are heading for its central hub.
Without another word, it teleports away.
You step out of the portal into the central hub, where every soul-every Necrostar's memories-replay on holographic screens.
Then, your blackened eyes settle on one in particular: Rover, locked in a relentless battle against thousands upon thousands of TDs, fighting desperately to reach Shorekeeper and save her.
You smile before turning your attention to the corruption that has engulfed the central hub's control panels.
"Now then, all this corruption should sustain me for some time," you murmur. The Tacet Mark, now resting in your palm, glows as you absorb all the corrupted frequencies into yourself.
The Tethys System is preoccupied with Rover-an ideal distraction. But the moment you strip away the corruption, Rover finally reaches Shorekeeper.
The mission is complete. Black Shores has been restored.
"Master!"
You turn to face your doppelganger, the Tethys System. "Have you come to your senses now?"
"The reflection upon my wrongdoings is complete. The Chief Steward's words have left a deep impact."
You exhale and nod. "Good to hear."
With a snap of your fingers, a portal opens in the ceiling. Flying through it, you are greeted by the purification of the Tethys System.
