Usagi brought Gohan with her to check out on Goku after he confronted Chichi. She was worried about this poor man. And so was Gohan. The poor little boy was worried about his father. When they went outside, they found Goku standing over the lake. He looked sad and mistreated. Usagi just hated the way Goku felt because of Chichi. Though he looked better and felt right after he confronted his wife.
"Is Dad okay?" Gohan asked, worried.
"We need to make sure he's alright," Usagi said. She lightly took Gohan's hand and the two walked towards him.
"Goku, are you okay?" Usagi asked. She hoped she wouldn't bother him for checking on him.
He nodded as he looked over his shoulder at them. "Yeah... I'm fine."
"Are you sure, Dad?" Gohan asked, worried.
He smiled at him. "It's okay, Gohan. I just wanted to feel better after talking to your mom."
Then Usagi let Gohan's hand go and began to face him, "I'm sorry that you were upset about Chichi mistreating you today, but you did the right thing to confront your wife. I'm proud of you."
"I'm sorry you guys had to see this," Goku chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his head.
"There's nothing to apologize about, but I'm still proud of you for standing out. If you weren't too afraid, you would still stand up to Chichi." Usagi said.
"I had never stood up to myself before," Goku said.
"This isn't the first time you did. If you were the hero, you would always stand up. Like you did to the Red Ribbon Army." Usagi said.
He smiled a bit. "But this is different for me. I had never yelled at Chichi before. Part of me told me something I should have told Chichi a day ago so I wouldn't let her convince her friends over me."
"Then that's a good thing you did, Goku. If Chichi does that again, tell her to shut the fuck up next time." Usagi suggested.
"You know I'm right now," Gohan said.
She forgot Gohan was here as she began to panic. "Oh, no! I'm sorry I swore in front of you!"
Gohan smiled. "It's fine. I always get used to it."
Usagi smiled back in relief. "I'm glad."
"I like you, by the way. You're nicer than Mom." Gohan said.
Usagi's face flushed. "Why... thanks, Gohan."
Gohan nodded. "You're welcome."
"Again, I'm sorry for everything," Goku said nervously, smiling.
"You're fine, Goku. Let's make you something to eat. I can't let you starve like this." Usagi said before she headed back to the other cabin where she and the girls lived.
"Thank you, Usagi," Goku said. He and Gohan were walking beside her to the cabin. He felt so much safer with Usagi if it weren't for Chichi. Something sparks flies inside of his heart.
