Before Usagi meets Goku and his family...
A year ago, Usagi was traveling to see her fiance in his apartment. She found the spare key under the mat, so she unlocked the door and entered the apartment. Just when she came in, she found Mamoru with a sad look. Usagi noticed something was wrong, so she decided to talk to him.
"Mamo, is everything alright?" Usagi asked as she sat next to him, but Mamo moved away, which confused her.
"What's wrong?" She asked again.
"Usagi, we need to talk," Mamoru began.
She felt something dropped into her stomach, knowing what he was going to tell her something. At first, she was confused about why he didn't call her Usako or Usa. Just her name is Usagi.
No Usako? Usagi thought, confused.
"Look, it's not working out. We weren't right for each other. I think we should break our engagement off." Mamoru said.
Then, her happiness faded away into sadness when Usagi's heart shattered into pieces. "Wh-What...? Why?" She wanted to know why he dumped her. She wanted some answers.
Then a girl appeared in the background. Now Usagi realized Mamoru was breaking up with her for another girl.
"I'm sorry, Usagi, but I want a serious relationship with a serious girl," Mamoru admitted.
"And I'm also two weeks pregnant with his child," the girl said.
"Terra!"
Usagi's eyes widened. "What!?" Then a fit of anger took over as she slapped Mamoru across the face. Now her tears began to flow down her face. Sadness was taken over as well.
"You bastard! How could you do this!? You are a selfish heartbreaking jerk! After everything I did for you!" Then Usagi stormed out of the house crying.
Mamoru sighed, looking at his feet. "I'm sorry, Usagi..."

"He did what!?" After Usagi explained what happened, the girls were shocked to hear what happened.
"I don't understand. How could he cheat on you with a pregnant girl?" Makoto said, shocked.
"I know why. Because he is tired of her. That's why he chose to dump her for another girl." Ami said, making everyone except Usagi sweatdrop.
"Seriously, Ami?" Makoto facepalmed.
"We're so sorry, Usagi. We weren't expecting Mamoru to betray you." Luna said.
"We don't understand why he did, but clearly, you deserved better than being with Mamo," Artemis said.
"Why do you care? I thought you guys were fine being with Mamoru since we were Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion." Usagi said, wiping the tears away.
"We are being supportive, Usagi. Whatever the decision you made, you will always be supportive of you." Luna said.
"But think about Chibiusa? What will happen to her if they declare breakup?" Ami said, worried.
"If they weren't together, then Chibiusa and Crystal Tokyo wouldn't exist," Setsuna said, who was there for them, especially with Haruka and Michiru.
"Perhaps I'll try to talk to Mamoru and let's see how things worked out for you," Setsuna said.
Usagi let out a frustrating sigh. "It's already too late. Mamoru has already gotten someone pregnant. And Chibiusa's existence had already disappeared."
"What if it's not too late? You can still be with Mamoru." Setsuna said.
"As I said it's already too late. There is nothing we can do anything. It's over for us." Usagi said in a stern voice.
"But think about Small Lady," Setsuna said with a sad look.
"Look, I'm going to say this once: Mamoru and I are no longer together, and there is nothing we can do to fix our relationship. It's over. Now Mamoru had everything he ever wanted." With that, Usagi stormed off, leaving the group behind.
Setsuna sighed, looking down at the ground. "Oh, Princess."
"Poor bunhead," Rei said, worried.
"We must do something to make her feel better. We can't let her suffer like this." Michiru said, worried.
"It's better we have to let her heal her heart for a while alone. When she is ready, we'll give her a new start." Haruka said.
"By fixing her relationship?" Luna asked.
She shook her head. "No. Not like that. Usagi wouldn't like it if we did. I would say help her with a fresh start."
"Perhaps one day she will find her new soulmate," Artemis said.
"You guys are probably right," Luna said, nodding.
"Let us hope it works, Artemis," Haruka replied.
