I had expected that by Tuesday, Delilah would've responded to my texts or at least gave me an explanation as to why she wasn't answering, but I got nothing all day.

I figured it was because of the fact that we almost kissed at Johnny's house, but by Wednesday I realised that Shannon wasn't at school either, which was unusual but then I remembered that their Mam had a Miscarriage over the weekend, so that's probably why Delilah isn't answering and Shannon isn't at school.

But on Thursday, I got a text from Catherine saying she was worried about Delilah because she had left school sometime during lunch and by the time her next class started on Monday, which made me concerned because why would Delilah leave school in the middle of the day and not tell her best friend anything?

Something had definitely happened to her, I mean from what I've heard and seen, It was obvious, those BCS pricks hurt her again, and I tried texting her about It but of course I got no response.

So I decided to text Shannon and to my surprise she answered, she didn't say much but she did confirm my suspicions that something had happened, and Shannon confirming that it was true was enough for me to make up some excuse and leave Rugby practice before It had even started.

I left and headed to my car, with only one destination in my mind, but before I could even leave the school parking lot, my phone started ringing and when I looked down and realized it was Shannon, I answered immediately.

"Are you alone..?" Shannon mutters, as I hear a door close and click from her side of the phone, I slam my car door shut and put the phone up to my ear. "Yeah, I am. Did Delilah tell you what happened?"

"No. She hasn't said a word since Monday, she's barely even gotten out of bed.." She explained, her tone quiet. "I don't know what happened but It must have been bad because I've never seen her like this before."

"Shit." I didn't realize it was that bad. "If I come over, do you think she'll talk to me?"

"I have no idea. I've tried, all my brothers have tried, but she just stares at the wall, like she's too far in her own head that she can't hear us anymore."

Fucking hell what on earth happened to her?

"And you can't come over now." Shannon carried on, "But I'll text if there is a good time to come over this weekend- Just don't get your hopes up, because it might not happen, though."

All day Friday I was thinking about every bad thing that might have happened to Delilah. It was killing me not knowing what happened and how whatever went through made her stop talking to her own siblings.

By the time Saturday rolled around, I woke up at six thirty so I could feed the animals and clean the stables for half an hour before going back inside to give Dad his meds.

Aspen never came home last night after work so I imagine she stayed at her coworker's house. I don't much about him but apparently he's only been working there for a few months.
