I had left Claire's house just a few minutes ago, since after Patrick and I were in his car for quite some time, we came back inside, and the two blondes practically dragged me upstairs so I could tell them what we had been doing.
We only got ten minutes to talk before Darren started calling me, demanding me to come home since it was almost eleven pm at night.
I did not know that I had stayed out this long, time completely got away from me, especially with all that happened since I had arrived at Claire's house.
But now, I was in Patrick's car, since he was driving me home. Unfortunately. I mean, I was desperate to know how Shannon's date went, but I also want to fall asleep with Patrick.
Before Darren called me, the plan was that I would go back to Patrick's for the night, and then he would take me home early tomorrow morning.
But no, my oldest brother had other plans.
"You don't have to go home." Patrick tells me as he turns left, getting close and closer to my house. "I could turn around right now, and you can stay with me."
That's extremely tempting. But the more I think about it, the more I worry about what will happen if I don't go home.
"Maybe another time." I tell him, running my hand through his hair, "I'm glad you came over today."
Patrick squeezes my jean covered thigh, and half smiles at me, but it doesn't meet his eyes. "I'm glad I did too."
I tilt my head in confusion. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah. I'm fine." He nods, "Just..what we did earlier, is it bad because we aren't like together together?"
"No." I shake my head. "I mean, I don't think so. I mean clearly you've had more relationship experience than me, But-"
"What?" Patrick cuts me off, looking at me for a brief second. "You think I have relationship experience?"
"Wait-you've never had a girlfriend before?" I turn my body to face him. "Are you for real?"
"I've never really liked anyone before you." He shrugs, "I mean yeah I've done things with other girls, but most of the time, I was at a party and it was like seven minutes in heaven or whatever." He explains, "As I was saying, I've never had an actual girlfriend."
