Chapter Six

After Claire and Owen caught Gray, Zach and I up on the whole Indominus Rex situation we were pretty shocked.

"How the hell did it hide from thermal technology?!" I asked.

Claire was about to reply but Zach interrupted her "Probably some DNA crap."

"Exactly." Owen nodded.

We were all currently in a long loading bay for trooper cars because it was the only place we could find that wasn't swamped with panicking tourists.

I sighed "Where to now?"

"I'll find a car and drive you three kids back to our place, you'll be safer there." Owen stated.

Zach gestured to himself and I, "Hey we're not kids!"

Owen chuckled, "Easy buddy, you don't even know my sister!"

I blushed. It's starting to get really awkward really fast.

"Oh they know each other all right" Gray said under his breath.

Luckily only Zach and I heard him because we were the only ones who looked at him with wide eyes.

I drew my attention back to the matter at hand. "Okay everybody chill! Let's just find an actual mode of transportation, because come on it's not like we can go anywhere without one."

Owen nodded "Good idea, let's move."

While speed walking down the narrow outdoor loading bay, Claire's phone started ringing. Before she put it up to her ear I saw the caller ID, somebody called Lowery.

"What do you mean he's going to use the raptors?!" Claire exclaimed.

Owen stopped in his tracks, "Son of a bitch."

"You shouldn't say bitch." Gray remarked.

After finding out that Hoskins the jerk has taken control of the park after the death of Masrani, Owen was pretty pissed.

We eventually found a jeep that we all clambered into and drove to the raptor cages.

"Dani stay in the car." My brother ordered.

I laughed while opening my door, "Hell no."

When I got out of the car I saw a guy who I recognised to be Hoskins.

He turned around and saw both of us walking towards him.

"Well if it isn't the Grady bunch!" He laughed.

Owen let out a loud breath through his nostrils and punched Hoskins right in the face!

You don't wanna mess with Owen and his raptors, they are pretty much his babies.

Hoskins slowly stood up while holding his jaw "You bastard!"

"Hey! You better shut the hell up!" I shouted. Nobody calls my brother a bastard.

Owen grabbed my shirt and pulled me behind him a little.

"Listen Grady, you know it's our only option! All we gotta do is let the raptors out and they'll hunt that thing down! Easy!" Hoskins shouted at my brother.

"But they've never been out of captivity!" I yelled.

Hoskins smirked "That's why your ol' big brother is gonna go with them."

Okay now I'm pretty pissed, "Son of a-"

I was about to finish my sentence but Barry interrupted me, "If Owen goes I go."
