Ch. 37: Zoroark

"So what's going on with you and Boltund?", Umbreon asked.

"Well, to start this, we have to go back all the way to 6th grade. Back when I was still a Zorua and Boltund was still a Yamper.", said Zoroark.

"Ok?", said Umbreon.

"It all started back then. During that time, I was just your standard Zorua. Not very social, playful sometimes, and of course, having the ability to transform and create illusions and all that. I had met Boltund, or should I say Yamper, at the time in one of my classes and pretty quickly, we became good friends mainly because we had the same interests and were always there for each other.", said Zoroark.

"Ok, so if you were good friends, then what happened that made you guys split up?", said Umbreon.

"Well, that happened after about 2 years after we first met.", said Zoroark.

"2 years?! So it must've been something serious then!", said Umbreon.

"Yeah, it was. Our friendship's downfall began right as me and him evolved. Apparently, he evolved 2 months before our 8th grade year began, whereas I evolved right as it started. As soon as the year began, he started exhibiting much more different behavior than when he was a Yamper.", said Zoroark.

"Really? What was it then?", said Umbreon.

"Well, instead of being funny and playful, he was more prideful and self-centered. It's like he became Jack Doherty, only not as annoying and instead more egotistical.", said Zoroark.

"Why do you think that happened?", said Umbreon.

"To be honest, I don't really know. It just sort of happened out of the blue. One minute he's super innocent and nice, and the next minute, he feels like he can do whatever he wants.", said Zoroark.

"Just like Ash's Charmander.", said Umbreon.

"Exactly.", said Zoroark.

"So what did he do back in 8th grade that made him so bad?", said Umbreon.

"Well, after he evolved, he slowly started to become a bit more.........popular, I'd say. Many of the girls were attracted to him, and most of the guys wanted to be like him. He was getting like a bunch of friends and crushes like every week.", said Zoroark.

"Ok?", said Umbreon.

"Eventually, he started dating this girl, a Bayleef. The two of them had a pretty healthy relationship, according from what I saw. It pretty much looked the same as him and Sylveon's relationship right now actually.", said Zoroark.

"Ok then? But what happened?", Umbreon asked.

"Well for a while, I thought they had a pretty good relationship, until one day, while at school, there was a commotion on the hallway. When I and the other students went to see what was happening, I saw Bayleef yelling at Boltund in the middle of the hallway. He had another girl standing next to him, a Delcatty. Bayleef was screaming at him about how he cheated on her with Delcatty, and Boltund didn't seem to care at all about it. He wasn't remorseful, and pretty soon, Boltund told her to f*** off. She then ran out of the school, crying. The staff tried to chase her, but she ran too fast.", said Zoroark.

"Oh my Arceus......that's....that's terrible.", said Umbreon.

"That's not all though.", said Zoroark.

"Wait, what? What happened?", said Umbreon.

"Well I do need to show you something. During that time, I managed to take a small video of the incident. Here, watch.", said Zoroark, handing Umbreon his phone.
