Ch. 67: The Booby Traps

"GET BACK HERE, YOU LITTLE BRAT!!!!!", said Vespiquen as she chased Bayvee.

"Jeez, for a Pokémon with wings, you sure are slow!", said Bayvee.

"Werebugs! How are you slower than me?!", said Vespiquen.

"EEEEE.", one of them responded.

Once Bayvee finally reached his neighborhood, he spotted his house. When they weren't looking, he snuck under the house in the hole he dug. He then ran up the into the house and saw them coming towards the house, where they could see him through the window.

He then opened it briefly and started waving his paws around again.

"I'm in here, you morons! Come and get me!", said Bayvee.

Vesipquen flew to the window, but Bayvee pulled out a BB gun and shot Vespiquen's honeycomb thingy (I have no idea what to call that thing).

"OWWWW!!!!!! SHOOT!!! OW!!!! FRICKEN!!!!!", Vespiquen exclaimed, grabbing her whatever thing in pain.

The werebugs then all flew towards her.

"The little brat is armed!", said Vespiquen.

"I'm pretty sure that was just a BB gun.", said one of the werebugs, a Lopunny.

"That's it! That's it! I'm going around the front, you guys find a way from the other places!", said Vespiquen, getting up.

The werebugs all started to fly around the house as Vespiquen went for the front door.

"As soon as I get in there, that little brat's dead.", said Vespiquen, flying up the porch.

She reached for the doorknob but as soon as she grabbed it, she felt an intense burn on her hand.

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!", she screamed, letting go of the doorknob that burned her hand.

She blew on it a few times before rushing over to a nearby puddle and dipping her hand in it. The burning feeling instantly went away, but when she looked back at her hand, she mocked a big burn mark in the shape of the doorknob on her hand.

Meanwhile, the Lopunny Werebug went to the backyard, where she saw a door on the side of the house. She went over to it and opened it, realizing it was a door that led to a basement. She walked down there, where the whole basement was awfully dark.

Looking for a light switch, she found one hanging off the ceiling and pulled on it. However, nothing happened, but the lightbulb instead fell into her hand where she was holding the pull-down string. She then looked up, noticing a vent above her before a heavy iron came crashing down on her face, knocking her out instantly.

Meanwhile, Vespiquen got up and flew back to the same door that burned her. She then used fury cutter to cut the doorknob off its hinges.

"You're dead, kid.", she said before she opened the door.

As soon as she opened the door, a blowtorch immediately activated to the side of the door and started burning her head.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!", Vespiquen screamed, standing there for a few seconds before leaping back out and into the same puddle to cool off her head.

She lifted it back up and the top part of her head was completely scorched and blackened. Despite this, determined to find Bayvee, she got up and flew to another part of the house, where another werebug was trying to get into the house by prying open the window.

"What the hell are you doing?", said Vespiquen.

"Trying to pry this open. That kid locked it.", said  the Werebug, a Wartortle.
