Chapter - 22

Abhi went to the parking lot and found Akshara sitting on the bonnet of the car with her tons of bags on the floor. Abhi got irked seeing her sitting on the bonnet of his car. She knows how much he hates it. But she lived to trouble him.

He fisted his hands as he didn't want to shout at her. He just grabbed her bags and put them in the back seat. He settled on the driver's seat waiting for her to sit so they could go home. He blew the horn taking her out of the reverie. Akshara sighed and settled on the rear end.

She didn't want to sit in the same car with him. But she couldn't find taxi right now. So, she has to compromise and has to sit with her doofus. They didn't speak with each other during the whole ride. This is first for them. Even when they are enemies they always use to tease and the atmosphere of the car is boisterous. But today there is a pin drop silence in a car. Not even a peep from the couple.

As Abhi stopped the car, Akshara gets out of it without saying a single thing. "Unbelievable! Who will get this bags out of the car. If she doesn't wanted her dresses I also don't care for them. Let them rot here for all I care", he shouted in anger. He too gets out of the car but stop last minute thinking there are 4.5 lacs worth clothes in the car. His conscience didn't allow him to leave such expensive things in a car. He sighed and picked up all the dresses and put them in a living room. Akshara is nowhere at a sight.

"Yeh sahi hai pehle galti kro phir attitude dikhao. Ahhh! Girls", he is frustrated with her.

That night both of them slept without eating anything as dinner. Today they didn't wish each other goodnight also. Their goodnight sessions are Abhi's favorite as they get to make out a little because of it. That night is the longest night for them. They didn't sleep even a wink, tossing and turning on the bed. Whole time they are cursing each other.

Next day, Akshara went to her college early in the morning. She didn't want to see Abhi's face today. The anger which she was feeling yesterday was subsidied and converted into sadness. His ignorance was pinching her to the core now. It revoked the painful memories of her past.

When she was 10 years old, her brother decided to study in London. Being the loving parents, Karthik and Naira agreed to this. They decided they would go to London for 6 months as they wanted to properly settle Kairav there. Akshara could not go with them due to her school. And everyone in the Goenka House assured the couple that they would care good care of Akshara. But they fail to do so. They were so busy in their lives that they refused to feel the ignorance she was facing from her family. Her parents were not there. Her paternal family is too busy to acknowledge what she was going through. And it resulted, Akshara to develop first stage of depression. She refuse to eat, stop talking with anyone, didn't go out to play. As usual Goenka's ignore these signs. It was Akshara Singhania, her beloved Nina who saw these changes in her granddaughter. She took her little bean from there and took care of her for the time being. She forced her daughter and son-in-law to cut their trip short as Akshara was not coping well in their absence.

During these months Akshara's bond with her Nina strengthened. She was the one who held her hand when she was all alone. When the Goenka's ignored her Singhania's step forward to take care of their precious girl. Even Birla's step up to take care of that girl. This is why she is closer to her maternal family as compared to paternal ones. After some time with the help of various therapies, she was back to normal. But it caused a scar on her mind. She couldn't tolerate it now when she was ignored. Her parents make sure that she won't feel that again. This incident somehow revokes those memories back. Although she knew it was an honest mistake on Abhi's part. He didn't do this deliberately but still felt that way.

So, today Akshara decided to go college early and take her mind out of this sadness. She was not ignoring her emotions, she just didn't want to let this feeling linger on for a long period of time. She called her Nina already. She is her haven. Whenever she is in trouble, just talking to her provide her solace. Today also she called her early in the morning to find the comfort. She remembered clearly how she knew something was off with her just by hearing her voice. How she did that Akshara never understood. She can't give the reason why her mood was off because Abhi and Akshara decided not to share that they are dating from their family.

There are many reasons for this. Firstly, their nosy family will not let them enjoy this phase peacefully. They will tease them mercifully. But the biggest reason is Kartik Goenka. If he get to know that Abhimanyu is swapping spits with his precious daughter he will kill him for sure. He only allowed to let them live together only because he knew the couple won't see eye to eye to each other. And it won't cause any problem. If he got to know that they are dating he would blew everything off. Kartik is so possessive about his princess. And after that incident his possessiveness increased tenfold. So, that's why the couple decided not to tell anybody about anyone them being together.

Akshara was designing with utmost dedication when her phone rang. Initially she ignored that call. But when her phone continues to ring for 20 minutes straight she had no option left but to accept that call.

"What?" She shouted.

"Hello to you, Madam Victoria", Abhi answered sarcastically.

"Kya chahiye tumhe? Kyun pareshan kar rhe ho mujhe?" Akshara shouted at him.

"Where are you?" He asked her.

"Tumse matlab tum jao apni movies dekho", she taunted.

"You are in college right?" He asked her totally ignoring her movie comment.

"Kyun tumne abhi tak mujhe track nhi kiya?" She asked him. Akshara and Abhi always keep their GPS location on as they are alone in a new country. It helps them to know each other's whereabouts and they can help each other if they face any bad situation.

"If won't pick up your phone in 10 minutes then I would do that", he told her sincerely. They use this technology only for the safety purpose. Abhi won't intervene in her privacy ever.

"Yes, I am in college. I am working on an important design. So, don't disturb me now", she shouted and end the call. Only he has the power to make Akshara loose her calm even while designing.

"I hate that guy. Sara mood off kr diya. Ahhh!" She shouted.

Here, Abhi's condition is also same. "Yeh ladki humesha aisa krti hai. Seedha jawab nhi de sakti kya", shouted Abhi. He hit the punching bag to release his frustration.

He picked up his phone again to call. "Hello, Amelia. This is Abhi. Can I talk to you for a second?" He asked politely. His tone is complete contrast than the call he did a few minutes before.

"Yaa sure. I am free now", Amelia replied little flirtatiously. She has a huge crush on Abhi.

"Can you take Akshara at the canteen and eat something with her. Actually she had not done her breakfast and forgot her lunch too. So, please can you to go the canteen with her and make sure she eat something", Abhi pleaded her. He knows that Amelia has a crush on him and he didn't want to talk to her. But what to do desperate times call for desperate measures. He had to call her because his stupid girlfriend didn't eat anything since last night. He knows this habit of her very well. When she was angry the first thing she do was stop eating. So, they always had to force feed her. This time also he needed to do that.

"Umm, sure. I will take her with me", she replied. She is little disappointed that Abhi called her only because of Akshara.

"When you eat something just text me please", he again pleaded.

"Okay", she told him.

"Thank you so much Amelia. I will see you soon. Bye". He cut the call. He knew that Amelia will definitely feed his angry bird.

"Huh, itna bhi kya gussa hai ki khana hi nhi khana hai. Ab mujhe uss Amelia se help mangni padi. Pehle hi woh itni chaep hoti thi ab aur hone lagegi. Uhhh!! How frustrating! I haven't done anything wrong. I still have to beg people to feed my girlfriend", he mumbled and hit the punching bag to release his frustration.

Now, who will tell him that he is at wrong place this time? This time he is at fault and he has to make it up to his girlfriend soon.
