Seventy Seven encounter: Ponyta

Riff Raff (singing):
♪ "Here she comes ridin' wild, that fire girl with the sweet style,
She's got the heat, she's got the flare, ridin' on her Ponyta mare!" ♪

Just as Riff Raff reaches a funky riff, Marlene rounds a corner and comes face-to-face with two familiar figures: DeeDee from Dexter's Lab, her blonde pigtails bouncing with each step, and Bubbles from the Powerpuff Girls, who gasps excitedly as she sees Marlene and Ponyta.

Marlene: gasps, nearly falling off her Ponyta Whoa, whoa, easy there! Well, look who it is! DeeDee and Bubbles—what're you two up to?

DeeDee: prancing over Ooh! Is that a real Ponyta? It's so pretty! reaches out to pet it, but then pauses with a curious look Does it... burn?

Marlene: Nah, she's gentle. Just gotta be real careful! pats Ponyta proudly This baby's one of my new Pokémon, and she's got flames that'll only hurt if you make her mad.

Bubbles: giggles Wow, that's so cool! I only have stuffed animals at home, but a real-life Ponyta? That's like a dream! Can I take a ride with you?

Riff Raff:
♪ "Bubbles and DeeDee join the show,
With Marlene and her fiery glow!
They're in for a wild, wild ride,
With Ponyta there by her side!" ♪

Marlene chuckles, giving Riff Raff a thumbs up for the song.

Marlene: Hop on, Bubbles! And DeeDee, you better just walk beside us—I don't think Ponyta wants any acrobatics!

Bubbles climbs onto Ponyta behind Marlene, holding on tight as the trio trots along. DeeDee skips beside them, occasionally twirling with excitement.

Bubbles: squealing with joy This is amazing, Marlene! I think I'm gonna start a Pokémon journey too!

DeeDee: giggling Ooh! Maybe I'll find some Pokémon in Dexter's lab! Wonder if he's got a Pikachu hidden somewhere...

Riff Raff (wrapping up the song):
♪ "With friends on fire and fun to share,
They've got the world and they just don't care!
Onward they ride through the grass and the sky,
With flames so bright, they're ready to fly!" ♪

Blossom: whispering to herself Alright, Pikachu, let's see if you can resist this!

She turns around and, with a playful little wiggle, does her signature "buttcheek talk" move, opening and closing them in rhythm as if they're "talking" to Pikachu. Marlene stifles a giggle, while Riff Raff raises an eyebrow, impressed.

Pikachu: tilts head, curious but trying to keep a straight face Pika...chu?

Riff Raff: chuckling Blossom, girl, you're like... a sensation! The things you'll do to get that electric mouse's attention.

Blossom: grinning, hands on her hips I do what I gotta do! A Powerpuff's gotta be resourceful, right?

Bubbles: giggling Blossom, you're gonna make Pikachu laugh too hard to even battle!

Pikachu: finally breaking into laughter Pika! Pikachu!

Blossom does a little victory pose, proud of her success in getting Pikachu's attention. Marlene and Riff Raff cheer her on, amused at the lighthearted antics.

Marlene: Well, I'd say that's one way to catch a Pokémon's eye!

Scene: Blossom stands triumphantly with her hands on her hips as Pikachu finally gives in, rolling onto his back in fits of laughter. Marlene and Riff Raff join in, unable to resist the sheer goofiness of it all. Bubbles claps excitedly, bouncing on her toes as she watches.
