Reasons known has turned unknown,
People walked in and walked out leaving you alone,
Tears you cry on those lonely shores,
You try to rise but life gives you ugly gores.
You look to stars at night in peace,
Your friends they are who wink at you, who tease,
Changes in man are meant to be,
Find reasons to live; find reasons to be free,
People in your life leave you a rhyme,
On leaving they leave a new footprint in the Sands of Time.
You learn from past, make amends too,
Life is necessarily not meant for two,
But find yourself a reason to laugh,
Find yourself a new flame, even when things are rough.
Love in modern times are tough to be,
Love that stands a test of time is hard to see,
But look on towards the brighter side,
Changes in life might turn wrong decisions right,
For people in your life leave you a rhyme,
On leaving they leave a new footprint in the Sands of Time.
Set an example, don't just follow,
Wade through struggles, strengthen your heart and don't just mellow,
If love so true crosses your path again,
Do what your heart desires, for there is sunshine after rain.
And through your life many will come and go,
Don't give up on your hope, don't get low,
For through life, one day true love will shine,
Touching lives; theirs, yours and mine,
For people in your life are meant to leave a rhyme,
On leaving they leave a new footprint in the Sands of Time.
