I think i I knew this but I totally forgot about it until the other day when I saw a TikTok comment about it.
If you watch Outerbanks you know JJ and Kie start dating. Well apparently in the original script JJ was supposed to end up with Cleo and Pope (who's with Cleo in the show) was supposed to end with kie but the writers changed it bc the fans heavily shipped jj and kie.
And something about that just doesn't sit right with me.
Especially with all the drama of fans shipping their actors too.
Like damn. They changed it just bc if the fans.
And now here's spoilers for season 4 so don't read on if you don't want spoiled.
They changed the ship for the fans but didn't change the script to not kill off JJ, arguably the shows fan favorite.
I guess a character death is a bigger plot point than a ship but my point is don't change the story for the fans. Ugh.
