The mornings where cool and crisp, even inside the hanger bay warmed by running ship engines. The gentle hum echoed throughout the building, and it even helped you sleep peacefully through the chilly nights, although it could be said that cuddling up to your husband Tech greatly helped that as well. Training had been running smoothly so far, and all the clone troopers who were going to be fighting had arrived within the next two days. Hunter was in charge of two platoons, along with Gregor who also commanded two of the seven. The other three were split amongst Echo, Rex and Wolffe, although Echo was covering for Rex when ever the commander needed to step away and attend to other tasks such as arrangements with Veraxsis or Senator Chuchi. You felt each of the captains were doing quite well, although Echo confided in you a few times about his concerns. Echo was the only clone present who was not a previous captain, so he was learning on the fly.

Veraxsis would be coming in any day now, and ships had been steadily arriving or being dropped off since you had gotten here. There was a steady rotation of ship repairs, flight training, meals and team training that was steadily getting all the clones into gear for battle. Wolffe had seemed surprisingly fair as a leader, which was more then you had expected of him since your initial impression back on Coruscant. The clone commander wasn't fond of the Bad Batch, which was obvious, but he didn't fight against Rex's ranking placements and besides the occasional remark treated everyone equally. Between supporting the Captains words, and assisting Echo in his new rank, Wolffe seemed more of a team player then you had thought possible. In fact, you had been surprised when Captain Wolffe had requested for Golrin to be under his training. The clone had been passively adamant, and the Jedi apprentice had no arguments against it so Golrin had been training with him and his platoon as soon as they started. Rex had mentioned to you that Wolffe had worked with Master Plo Koon, and it was Golrins similarity to his past general that appealed so strongly.

Otherwise everyone seemed to be falling into routine easily. Those assigned to lead and organize were doing well, with little push back from the soldiers and Tech was satisfied with the ship repair progress. Crosshair had found a few snipers among those who had arrived and was training them in the unfinished second story in hangar bay 2, and Wrecker was having the time of his life as a Sargent. Even Omega, was having a great time running around, doing some of her own training under Hunter, and assisting Echo when needed.

Out of everyone you were probably the only one who felt behind. You had tried your best to just support Tech and fill in roles where you could, but you knew your training was different and your involvement more specialized then the others. Your training with Golrin helped reassure you of your strengths, but any time you'd try to keep up with the guys it was obvious how different your strength and stamina were.

The first morning after arriving Rex had introduced all of you to the men present and created the platoons. You and Golrin were both introduced as force-users, and you knew from that moment on you would be treated a certain way. Initially Golrin had been separated too, but since he was one of the guys and was only using force ability's when training with you he was quickly considered equal among their ranks. On the other hand, you had been set apart even more as the days went on. Not only were you observed for your force abilities and training off to the side, you knew you were still be oggled at on occasion and would catch the stray comment every now and then.

The attention was flattering at least, especially when Tech would get particularly possessive, but it still made you question what your involvement really was ... why were you here? Thus, you did your best to support Tech in everything he did. After all, if nothing else, you were his support and Tech was a key player in this entire operation. In addition to that you became a backbone for Echo, Golrin, and Omega, in their new environment and involvement. It gave you some sense of purpose, beyond just standing around or meditating.
