It was early spring when you arrived on Artorias, with the tree's blossoming and the hillsides still dusted in frost. You had said your final goodbyes to Golrin, Rex and the others both excitement and sadness present in your mind. Echo said his goodbyes, deciding to remain with Rex for the time being. Omega wasn't happy about it, but Echo reassured her that it would only be for a short time.

The flight across the galaxy was unusually quiet even as you dodged imperial patrols. You talked very little, with conversations mostly consisting of planning for your immigration. There was a sense of melacholy as the whole group accepted the reality that they were retiring... really retiring. Some were happier then others, but there was a general feeling of anxiety. Starting over came with its own challenges, but whenever you began to be too fearful you would sit with Tech. Just having your husband holding your hand and looking into your eyes with his calm neutral expression brought you back to your senses. You were now closer then ever to the life that had been taken from you. That thought alone made you smile.

Using the coordinates from your last visit Tech guided Omega as she landed outside the city of Oreneia, this time parking your vehicle much closer to town on a level hillside. The forest you had originally landed in seasons ago could be seen across from the town, and the sky was clear enough that morning to view the surrounding mountain ranges. With the current season the white stone buildings seemed to blend into the frosty ground and few piles of snow. There were little lights hung about, as well as lantern posts throughout the city streets.

As before, your arrival had been seen by those in town and shortly after landing the mayor Charalambos and his wife Magda came out to your ship. Your group had descended the gangplank in your armor, excluding your helmets and greeted the mayor with a smile. You immediately recognized their faces from your time here before. Age had hardly touched them at all, and Magda still had that gentle elegance you had seen before. Her face became a smile as soon as she saw your group.

"What brings you to Oreneia, travelers? I am Charalambos, and this is my beloved wife Magda " The mayor introduced himself, but his wife held a twinkle in her eye.

"Welcome back" Magda smiled, extending her arms out to you in a hug which you readily accepted.

Charalambos had a good laugh that he hadn't recalled your faces, and Hunter explained to the mayor why you were there. Magda of course was thrilled you had all returned and tried to whisk you and Omega away to her house to talk about settling into life on Oreneia. Some immediate accommodations were made and you spent that night at the mayor's house for dinner.

Tech had kept the finances in order over the course of your bounty hunting days and had allotted money aside to purchase a house for the squad, as well as a residence for the two of you. The house search took some time, and you all continued to live out of the Havoc Maurader for a few months before a house became available. Part of the wait was due to the space needed, and while you had been willing to have a smaller one bed house, Tech insisted on finding two houses with four or five bedrooms each. Magda of course was happy to assist Tech in the house hunt making many comments about needing ample space for the growth of a family. The two of them discussed floor plans and layouts almost every afternoon at the Mayors house and you sat by enjoying the free entertainment along with Magda's children.

Over these months while waiting for two large houses to 'magically' become available Wreckers leg healed significantly and the remainder of the Bad Batch found local trades for work. Hunter joined the merchants guild per the Mayor's recommendation, and became a carpenter's apprentice. Crosshair spoke with a variety of farmers and found the local hunting group which had seasonal work. It meant there was little to do in the current summer, but Crosshair impressed them with his sharpshooting and earned himself a spot on their team for fall. Wrecker kept to himself while his leg was healing simply meaning that he was a social butterfly throughout the market and always playing games with the kids. Wrecker hung around one restaurant enough to become a regular and eventually got hired as a bouncer for their late night parties. Tech of course became an architectural engineer and started his apprenticeship under a local master who quickly learned how self-taught his pupil would be. Lastly, you spoke with Magda and found some work in gardening or in sewing at one of the few clothing stores run in Oreneia. It was mostly embroidery work, but you used the force to influence your technique and were able to create elaborate designs quickly. Of course, you never told Magda how exactly you finished your pieces in such a timely manner, but Tech had his theories.
