"Hey baby want to go for a walk?"
This time it was Winston asking me on a date. Ever since Teresa and Thomas started dating, I've been the only available girl in the glade. The gladers have been fighting over me for months, even Alby, who was supposed to be the responsible one.
"No thanks Winston," I reply.
I don't want to go out with Winston, the only boy I like is Newt, but he's the only glader who doesn't constantly ask me out. Every time I try to talk to him or be around him he runs away, like he doesn't want to see me. I guess that's why I like him. Besides the fact that he was adorable he was the only one not always flirting with me. But it was also disappointing, the only one who I'm actually interested in and he doesn't even want to be around me.
I haven't told anyone, but I've decided it's time to tell my best friend, Teresa. I can't keep this secret to myself anymore, I need someone to talk to.
"Teresa?" I ask walking over to her.
"What's up y/n?" She replies.
"Can we talk?"
