Chapter 241 : Vasusena's Inheritance

Draupadi gently caresses Yudhisthira hair. Her eyes warm and full with affection.

Yudhisthira's hair has turned as beautiful as the moonlight. These fine lines on his face shows his experience over the years. He is becoming more soft as he ages. His voice filled with warmth and compassion and endless patience.

Draupadi purses her lips.

This man aged like fine wine.

"Maaaa...."

Satanika quietens down entering the chamber.

"What?" Draupadi turns around.

"Maa," Satanika's voice is soft, "These documents of the Treasury in Indraprastha, I am having some problems. Also Pitashree Bheema is preparing to send a huge amount of gold coins from his personal Treasury to Panchala."

Draupadi nods extending her hand for the documents.

Satanika hums softly looking around Yudhisthira's chamber. Where's the ornaments? What else can he steal while his mother looks over the documents?

Yudhisthira stirs awake.

His eyes fall on his wife first as she is sitting beside his chest. Her eyes focused on some documents.

"Kalyani..." Yudhisthira's strong arm wraps itself around her waist almost pulling her on top of him.

"Ar..." flustered Draupadi tries to warn him but it's too late.

"RAM NAAM SATYA HEIN! RAM NAAM SATYA HEIN!" Satanika screams holding his eyes and running away from the chamber.

Yudhisthira was so shocked he sits up his mouth falling agape. His face, neck, ears slowly turns the deepest hue of red.

Draupadi looks at the way Satanika run away from the chamber and currently screaming in the hallway for Ganga Jaal.

"Arya..."

Draupadi turns to look at Yudhisthira who has buried himself under the sheet curling up too ashamed.

"There there..." Draupadi as the good 'husband' she is, comforts the blushing 'bride.'

"Why must it be Satanika?" Yudhisthira groans.

Satanika must have spread about this to everyone. Now maids in Yudhisthira's chamber will giggle for no reason. Nakula would smile unnecessarily at him. Bheema would hint about Yudhisthira returning to his chamber.

Yudhisthira definitely doesn't want such support from his brothers. Why can't his intimate life be his only?

"Why are you so ashamed?" Draupadi purses her lips, "And why don't you order them to ask for permission first before entering your chamber?"

"They are children, Kalyani," Yudhisthira reasons, "Why must they ask for permission entering their parents chamber?"

"Your so called children have their own children,"

Draupadi narrows her eyes. Few days before, Satanika wanted to climb up Bheema's chamber as Bheema locked the doors keeping her inside.

Satanika used the balcony to climb up.

But Bheema rubbed oil all over the balcony railings so Satanika fall in the lake with a huge splash.

Bheema grinned inside enjoying the wine and a torn Draupadi in his arms.

Satanika didn't give up. He stood their shouting of Bheema for abusing him because he is a step son. Until Bheema went to the balcony and threatened to shoot him he didn't leave.
