NXT March 9th 2020
Rhea's rivalry with Charlotte was in full swing as the two brawled throughout the arena with Charlotte getting the upper hand. Damian was in a rivalry with Keith Lee for the NXT Championship. However, looming over both of these conflicts was the presence of Triple H, who had taken to hiding within the NXT arena, seemingly trying to avoid confronting Y/N.
In the heart of the ring, under the spotlight, stood Triple H with a microphone firmly grasped in his hand. He appeared thoughtful and almost reflective, a rare moment of vulnerability for the veteran wrestler and executive.
Triple H: Everybody if you will indulge me for a moment. It's the night after Wrestlemania 36, Y/N is standing in this ring having beaten the Undertaker in the Main Event of Night One and then beaten me in the main event of Night Two.
As he spoke, a faint, almost incredulous smile broke upon Triple H's face, betraying his attempt to maintain a serious demeanour as he once again doubted Y/N.
Triple H: I can't do it, he won't be able to do it. The only possible way he can do it is if hell freezes over, the seas would have parted, the world would have stopped and there would have been a miracle because Y/N beat myself, a fourteen-time World Champion and the Undertaker.
The crowd erupted with mixed reactions, some cheering Y/N's name while others booed Triple H, caught up in the spectacle.
Triple H: But here's the kicker.
Triple H pressed on, his tone shifting, becoming more serious and introspective.
Triple H: I know Y/N; I know him better than he knows himself. He is a man with nothing to lose, and that makes him extremely dangerous. He will risk everything, and I mean everything, to achieve victory. His mentality is warped yet powerful—he perceives himself as a man without a country, someone who has been pushed to the edge. In his eyes, he has nowhere to go but forward, and that's the truth. My cards have already been played, and I've drawn the Undertaker within the confines of Hell in a Cell.
The arena grew silent, the tension palpable as fans waited for Triple H to elaborate on the stakes at hand.
Triple H: But Y/N will risk life and limb to beat Undertaker and get his hands on me because that is just who he is. So believe me when I tell you he is the Undertaker's most formidable opponent, so you have to ask the question will the Underaker be able to beat Y/N?
The crowd was a mix of Yes's and No's as they made their feelings clear as they had chose who they believed would win the match.
Triple H: Well, he better because right now he is my instrument of destruction but if he loses at Wrestlemania 36, then this Wrestlemania will be his last.
In that moment, the arena fell into a hush, the weight of Triple H's ominous words settling heavily around them, as the flashing lights transformed the stage for another iconic moment. Then, the chilling sound of a tolling bell shattered the silence, and the lights dimmed, sending shivers down the spines of the audience.
The familiar ominous music threaded through the arena, building suspense. Slowly, The Undertaker began his slow, deliberate walk down the aisle, each step a reminder of the impending doom that lay ahead.
Without a word, The Undertaker stepped into the ring, towering over his former rival who had failed to end the streak. The atmosphere tightened as he placed a cold hand around Triple H's throat, his voice a low whisper that cut through the tension.
Undertaker: You know what's going to happen when I close that door behind me at Wrestlemania? You know what I do. Y/N's blood will be on your hands but if you disrespect me again, your blood will be on my hands.
