Moments later, his phone buzzed. It was Vikram.

"Sir, my men are on-site," Vikram reported. "No sign of Inaya or anyone suspicious yet. They’re spreading out to cover the surrounding area."

"Good," Advik said curtly. "Stay on it and keep me informed."

No sooner had he ended the call than his phone buzzed again, this time from the technical team.

"Sir, we’ve located the real signal," the technician said, his voice taut with concentration. "It’s several kilometers from the ice cream parlor, near an apartment complex."

Advik’s eyes narrowed. "Send me the coordinates immediately and keep the location locked. If there’s any movement, I want to know."

"Yes, sir."

As the real location appeared on his phone, Advik’s lips pressed into a thin line. His mind was already several steps ahead. Dialing Vikram once more, he barked, "Change your course. Redirect the men to the new location I’m sending now. Move fast—I want Inaya found before she even realizes we’re onto her."

"On it, sir," Vikram replied, his tone as resolute as ever.

Advik stared at the real-time tracking on his screen, his eyes cold and unyielding. Inaya might think she could outsmart him, but he would ensure she learned otherwise. No one, not even his sister, could escape his watchful eyes.

Advik paced back and forth, his mind working at lightning speed. Vikram had just reported that his men were closing in on the location, but Advik had told them to hold off for now. He didn’t want to make any moves too soon, not until he had a clearer picture of what was going on.

His eyes narrowed, and his fingers tapped furiously on the desk as he considered the situation. Something didn’t sit right with him. Why would Inaya be at that location? Who else could she be with?

Then, a thought hit him like a bolt of lightning. Arnab.

Without wasting another second, he called his technical team. "I need you to track Arnab’s location immediately. I want to know where he is right now."

A few tense moments passed before his team came back with the results. "Sir, both Inaya and Arnab’s locations are the same. They’re at the same place, sir."

Advik’s breath hitched for a moment, his anger simmering beneath the surface. His fist clenched tightly around the phone. He hadn’t expected this. Arnab. That goddamn stupid guy. He’ll die this time.

He disconnected the call sharply, trying to calm himself before turning to Ruhani. She had been silently watching him, her concern growing as she took in the tension in his posture.

"What now, Adi?" she asked softly, sensing the storm brewing within him.

Advik’s gaze hardened, his voice low and dangerous. "Arnab’s involved. I’m going to deal with him. That idiot doesn’t realize the mess he’s just gotten himself into."

Ruhani could feel the gravity in his words. She opened her mouth to say something, but the words stuck in her throat. She had seen Advik’s rage before, but this... this was different. She knew this wasn’t just about Inaya anymore.

Advik’s phone buzzed again, the screen lighting up with a message from Vikram. His eyes immediately snapped to it, and the message confirmed what he feared.

“Sir, she just got into a car with a guy. Our men are following them, but I’m not sure what’s going on.”

Advik’s eyes flashed with fury as the weight of the situation hit him like a punch to the gut. A car. With a guy? Arnab.
