The next morning, I was lying next to Elias, in his original form. Well I was rather halfway buried underneath him, I was lucky that his previous weight didn't squish me by now. Not only was it hard to get away underneath him, his arm made it impossible to escape. It was Silky, helping me out. She pulled out a pan and a wooden spoon, clapping it together.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
In an instant, Elias was wide awake, moving his head to the sound. "Silver, don't do that again. It is already bad when Chise does that" he said, dropping back to the bed, getting a huge squeak from me. He jumped up again, looking down, "Sorry N/A I didn't see you there." I mumbled a painful 'liar' out, before crawling away from his arm. "Air!" I said relieved, breathing in deep. Elias watched me, before he gets worried at the sight of Silky. She had a sour look on her face. "I get it Silver, we are down in a minute." Her frown turned to a smile, leaving in silence. Elias was still sitting in bed, while I was already finished to get down. I opened the door and looked into his direction, "Early Grey or Darjeeling tea?"
"Earl Grey, please."
Chise and Ruth were afraid of the scene before them.
There was me, giving the usual tea to Elias...and he doesn't complain, instead, he complimented me. That was scary indeed! Later on, we went out and took care of some plants. Chise and Ruth followed close behind; shocked to see us both work together, without a single fight breaking out. It was like we had been harmonious like this forever.
Somehow, they get the feeling it will not last forever. So far, it never had.
A little problem occurred, as Simon came over to give Elias a job. The way the priest winked at me, was Elias prepared to rip Simon's head off. I calmed him, by placing my hand on his shoulder. He held on to my hand, afraid that I might let go too soon. Simon seems to notice this, "Well cheating on your wife already Aintsworth?" Before Elias could respond, I stepped in, "Shouldn't you be back at the church by now?" Thankfully, he understood what my glare meant and left without many words. Chise showed him the way out, while I stayed with the man of the house.
"Thank you" he said, holding my hand tight.
"What he said was out of order. I only tried to help."
"N/A?"
"Yes?"
I looked at his skull face and began to get nervous.
"I need your help with something. Your powers might come handy at this."
I was glad, that he asked me to do something for him, "What do you need me for?"
"A transformation potion."
I was confused of why he needed such a thing, but he kept it a secret. I followed him to his study, where he closed all windows and moved the curtains closed, till the room was pitch black. He used magic to light up all the candles in the room, next he draws a circle on the floor and places a few items onto the drawing. I am not familiar with this procedure, so I just watched from afar. Once Elias was done with his preparations, he asked me for a bit of hair of mine. He dropped them into a bowl of water. Now, he began to chant something, while thorns began to get all around him.
"N/A, once the thorn wrapped me up, uses your skill to reduce the power. Once the thorns turn green, you can stop." I nodded and waited for it to begin.
They wrapped him up completely, leaving no more space to see through. I placed my hands to the two parts he made for me to grab on. I closed my eyes and concentrated on it. It felt unusual, as Elias powers overwhelmed me. It was dark and powerful. I wasn't careful for a minute and the thorns scratched my arm, making it bleed a little. "Focus N/A. Focus....focus...on Elias" I said to myself over and over. It was soothing and made me help controlling the massive amount of magic he produces.
Little by little, his thorns turn from blue to a nice bright green.
It didn't take long for them to remove themselves, letting Elias free. To my surprise, he didn't look like the Mage from before, he was in his human form now. Once ever thorn was gone, Elias feels unconscious to the ground.
"Elias!!!"
