Not sure how he got there, Elias fell into the water. Looking up, he saw the water turning to ice and me, running away from this monster. The surface won't break, not even by pressing his hands against it. Trapped under water, he sat on the floor, thinking of a way out. At least he didn't have to fear to drown.
But somehow...
...this reminded him of something. Like he has been in such a situation before. His memories were blurry, not one image could help him out.
"Can't remember your past eh?"
Elias jumped at the sound, it was close. He looked around, finding the person to the voice, "Who are you?"
"We met before. I enjoyed seen you being human for such a long time. You really know how to entertain me." Not to far off, Asheneye appeared. Elias looks irritated, "I don't know you."
"Not like you are now, but recently, your new form is getting boring" he raised his staff and chanted something, "Thank you for the show, pilum moralis."
Elias body began to burn from the inside, while his limbs seem to stretch. His bones were growing larger, causing a lot of pain. The mage fell to the ground, wincing. Asheneye laughed at the sight, before disappearing in thin air, "Let's play again one day."
Above the surface, the Wendigo was still digging towards me. With a stick I poked into its eye sockets, causing it to slow down. His nails have already scratched my arm. Poking him once more, he caught it quick. In one go, he pulled me out of the hole, now hanging in the air. This is it, I thought. It opened its mouth extremely wide, revealing razor sharp teeth. Afraid to die, I closed my eyes and waited to be over quickly. I heard it growl, but the pain didn't follow. Opening one eye, I saw long black hair, choking the creature. Following it, I saw a woman and a centaur wearing a mask. It got me off the monsters grasp, while the woman held it in place. The Wendigo was hissing in out direction. It was screaming out my name, biting off the hair from this wrists. She couldn't hold its throat all too long. The monster held her hair and pulled on it with such force she feel towards its feet. The centaur tried to protect her, only to get thrown against the nearest tree. It was strong, too strong. The woman winced, as it held her head up. It wanted to eat her face off. Out of reflex I pulled on the woman's waist, "Let her go!!!"
The monster grabbed with his other hand my arm. Furious that I cannot protect her, I screamed out, "I said....let...her...gooo!!!!!!"Elias didn't hear what happens above.
The pain was gone, finally coming back to his senses. Seeing his hands, he couldn't remember that he wore gloves. Even his clothes have changed to a suit and a cloak. What does disturbed him the most, was his head. It felt...different. Looking to the surface, the reflection allowed him to see it. A skull. It reminds him of Chise and what she said about his head. Not only that, his old memories came back to him, all at once. With his head spinning, he sat up and waited for the images to stop. Slowly, he was remembering his past, knowing who he is and why he was under the water.
He was back to his old self.
With that, he was able to use his wisdom and knowledge, to break the prison he was in. The moment the ice melted, a bright light blinded him.
On my body, it felt like wax was covering my skin and hair wrapping around my neck.
The Wendigo and woman were gone. Starring around the area, I watched the centaur trembling in fear. Why was he scared? The water was back to normal. In my reflection I jumped at the sight. What was I? Horns, green eyes, hair turned to black fur, long nails and sharp teeth. The coat around my shoulders, were ripped apart with holes and covered in dirt. Thinking that this was strange, my mind seem to erase my memories.
ias peeked out the water, seeing a monster on the small island. It was different from before, but still growling like an animal. Looking around, he didn't see me anywhere, hoping that he wasn't too late. He walked on the water, heading towards the creature. With it's back to him, he couldn't see the face. "N\A?" He asked, gaining attention from the creature. Turning around, his yaw dropped. What happened while he was trapped? My emotions were flooded with hate and revenge. As I saw Elias in his original form, I was not able to recognize him at first. Not able to control myself, I attacked him suddenly. What the hell was I doing? Stop it!!! Elias thankfully dodged my attack, jumping away from the lake. The island seem to frighten me somehow, my body refused to touch the liquid. Now I was the one trapped. Staring over to the ancient mage, he seems to be thinking of something. Suddenly, his skull was looking to the left. Two shadows appeared and stood before the mage. They reminded me, but I don't know from where? The new body of mine, was more interested to get off the island. The fur had a mind of its own, reaching for the trees opposite the lake and pulled me with enough strength over. With the desire for flesh, my mouth began to water...walking over to the three. In my mind I was screaming it to stop, begging to leave Elias alone. It won't obey me.
"It won't listen to you."
Eh? That voice came from behind...inside that monster? "Who are you?"
It appeared to be a man in an armour, shield and sword, "Because it was me, that made this monster the way it is."
"What did you do?"
