20. Transformation portion

He wasn't like the Elias we know. As I was in the bath room, brushing my teeth, he came in. He stood in front of the mirror and made several expressions with his face. For every move, he looked over and says things like. "This is sad...this is happy...this is friendly...this is...

"Okay I get it, you can read emotions now. Shouldn't you take care of your transformation potion?"

He looked at me, like he never heard of portions before. "I know, I know, that is an irritated face." "What are you talking about?" I looked at him, "What?" He returned the gaze, "What do you mean by 'portion'?" He only remembered that, he found this spell at the college. One of the teachers there gave him the information. I couldn't believe it, "And you told me that it was a portion, what the hell did you get yourself into?!"

He lowered his head, "I...can't remember."

"Great, you don't know anymore and we have to fix your mess" I lend Chise's mobile and called the college. Unfortunately, she only had Alice number...she transferred me over to a man named...Adolf. He knew that someone broke into the magic department. It was clear that only a member got into that place without setting the alarm off. And he already had someone on his mind. He would call me back, once he has more information.

"Chise, Adolf will call back to us, once he knows more!"

Chise nodded, until we both heard Ruth from upstairs, "Chise, N/A come up here, I found something!" We went up and found him in Elias study. "What did you find?" I asked him impatient. He opened a huge book and read out loud: "Transformations spells. Sick and tired to live your life? With the transformation you can live another one easily. Since 1534 are only three spells left. The Institute of magic announced them as illegal and keeps them from society. As good as the spell sounds, it holds several consequences to remember. The person's character might change a little or even completely, they can do things which they never could before and so on...

There three spells have names of fairy tales which are: The little mermaids portion, the swan princess portion or the sleeping beauty portion.

From all portions, the little mermaid is the most dangerous portion of all. If the person involved doesn't get the love he or she seeks, they turn to dust. The sleeping beauty, they will sleep over 5000 years in a deep slumber. The most harmless portion is the swan princess, it the person doesn't receive his or her love, they just return back to their original form.

All of them have one in common: They all end till the next full moon."

Once he finished the last sentence, we all looked at one another. "And what portion did he use?!" I was now worried and so was Chise. If we don't find a way to lift the spell he might...turn to ashes, sleep for centuries or turn back to normal.
