𝐒𝐭𝐲𝐠𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐳𝐞𝐥 [ Book Three Of The Series ]

Chapter = 50

With great efforts, Nina and Ara had managed to calm Myai down. Her blood was boiling at that point and somehow Neong's significant dish worked like healing magic on her. The deep fried strips were crunchy and heart smoothing. Myai's anger flew away like wind as she ate the dish happily. Both Nina and Ara also looked impressed by his dish and were munching on it.

" It's soooo gooddddd!! Brother in law!! What type of deep fried meat it is? We never ate something like this! "

Myai cheerfully devoured, satisfaction visible in her voice. Both Neong and Chisuke turned their heads towards her in unison. Neong's cheeks flushed as he looked flustered by Myai addressing him as ' brother in law ' meanwhile Chisuke silently threw draggers towards Myai through eyes who seemed to be not caring about anything right now. Nina giggled watching their brother in law's flushed red cheeks while Ara tried to control her giggles.

" It's not meat. It's actually carrots— "

" WHAT?! "

They all chocked on their food together, hearing him. Their eyes wide in astonishment. Myai's jaw dropped as she stared at the strips on her plate blankly. She had never liked carrots but she didn't expected that carrots could be THIS tasty! Others had the same reaction as well. Chisuke was neutral to all vegetables but amusement also flickered in her eyes as she again took a bite of the deep fried carrot strips. It tasted nothing like the regular carrots. Nina sneaked a glance at Myai who had now stopped chewing, with her mouth open she kept staring at her plate. Ara silently gulped down the strips with a embarassed smile.

It wasn't the reaction Neong was expecting but he felt utterly happy for some reason. Maybe because he became their brother in law? Not officially yet though.

After dinner, Guests had moved to Ballroom again and were seated on their chairs, enjoying the song; singer was singing in the stage. The music was light and peaceful but in their table, they all were busy munching on the strips prepared by Neong for them. Only their table were filled with plates of food.

" Guess what?! Carrots are my fav vegetable now! "

With it, Myai again munched onto the strips while they all chuckled softly seeing her reaction.

Meanwhile on the Stage, one by one guests who wanted to sing came up giving beautiful performances which were praised loudly by the listeners. Now it was Kim Brothers's time to perform a song. But their eyes remained stuck on the figure of Neong who was sitting beside Chisuke while staring at her with a softness in his eyes.

" Hyung! He looks like a threat to me. "

Jungkook whispered to Seokjin with a deep frown on his forehead. Their gazes were pinned on Neong, watching his every move like spies. Seokjin nodded in agreement.

" He's a famous chef in an ancient restaurant in our city. I heard that their restaurant was started by his ancestors! And peoples really enjoy his dishes. "

Namjoon said with his arms crossed. Seokjin's eyes sparkled hearing him, he looked so impressed by Neong! His impressed look made his other brothers scoff in disbelief. They all were standing on the backstage of the stage while waiting for the emotional guy's song to end. Almost everyone in the room looked bored by his song. Jimin had to cover with ears to block his helpless song.

" He seems qualified enough for our Chisu. He's handsome, tall, looks sweet and caring and is kind looking. Perfect for our Chisu. Isn't he? "

Their necks snapped almost immediately to Hoseok's direction making him flinch at the sudden attention.

" NO! "

" Looking sweet, caring, handsome, kind isn't enough! " Jungkook.

" He has to be loyal! " Taehyung.

" He has to be a gamer like us! " Jimin.

" Shut up Maknaes!! "

Seokjin's one yell was enough to shut the commotion off even before it truly began. He clapped his hands happily, looking at his brothers.

" He's a chef! An amazing chef! Just like me! He deserves our Chisu!! She doesn't know how to cook guys!! And if she's getting a chef as her husband then she'll LUCKY! We wouldn't have to eat her half-burn half-raw foods everyday if he married her! "

Low-key they all agreed with  Seokjin's words who now was lost in his imagination, seeming to be shipping them together. Yoongi and Namjoon let out a defeated sigh before nodding their heads, making Hoseok and Seokjin smile wider. They turned their attention towards their younger brothers who had now crossed their arms stubbornly with a deep frown.

" I don't understand this. Why do you even hate the idea of that boy becoming our Chisu's boyfriend? Don't you want tasty food? "

Jungkook huffed in annoyance, his gaze fixed on Neong who was talking with Chisuke with a wide smile. Other two Taehyung and Jimin also threw a judgement look towards Neong who was obvilious to the scene occuring in backstage of the stage.

" I don't like him. "

" Me too. " Taehyung.

" Me too. " Jimin.

Yoongi facepalmed himself, totally done by the stubborn behaviour of their younger brothers. Hoseok threw his hands up in air, tired by their nonstop judgements. Namjoon pulled the ragging Seokjin back with a troubled expression.

" Where's my pink slippers?! Where's my pink slippers?!! Lemma just pour washing powder into their brains and clean it with my pink slippers!! "

Maknaes jumped. Horrified by Seokjin's angry face suddenly appearing closer to them. Namjoon pulled him back in time, while bowing to the guests with a apology face. He looked so embarrassed by all this. After calming Seokjin, he turned to Maknaes.

" What are the problems you guys are even having in accepting him? Our Chisu seems to like him as well! Atleast accept him for her— "

Jungkook cutted his words immediately with a frown.

" Wait a minute. What's with this Our Chisu Our Chisu?! Did you guys seriously accepted her as our sister now?! Why does her happiness matters now?! "

They all went silent.

Jimin also stepped in.

" Hyung, Are you guys perhaps forgetting our original plan? We are doing this act to gain her trust, to get close to her! "

" We seriously could never accept her or consider her as our sister? Don't pretend to care that much about her or else you all might start caring for her in real also. "

Taehyung's last words hitted harder than he thought. The words went through their hearts. The older Kim brothers exchanged glances as if trying to see if it's only them who started to care for her in real. But they quickly shook away that thought.

" Uh we......we understand but.... but why are you guys even not accepting him? I mean you guys not accepting him seemed like you cared about— "

" We are not accepting him because If he were to come in Chisuke's life, getting close to her, gaining her trust, it would be a lot more difficult to do. After we are done with this act, she can be with that guy all life. We just want to solve her mystery. "

Jimin completed Hoseok's line who sighed in defeat. They all came to conclusion that they won't let Neong come in her life but under their act, they all had really started to care and they all knew, they were losing badly in their own acts. Their act was now a cruel reality for them and it pained them.

Yes. It's the act they are doing. To gain her trust. To get close to her. To find out the truth. To know who the hell she was and from where she had came. And when they already came so far in their plan, they couldn't let their thoughts wonder to what if the circumstances were different?
