𝐒𝐭𝐲𝐠𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐳𝐞𝐥 [ Book Three Of The Series ]

Chapter = 55

After a long birthday celebration, everyone returned to their houses. Mrs. Kim went to kitchen after freshing up to make something to eat as it was already past 12 AM and Mr. Kim was supposed to come home by 3 AM from the business trip. She took out the flour and started to mix it with egg when Seokjin also entered the Kitchen, intending to help her with cooking. He also quickly started to take out the meat from refrigerator, cutting them into pieces and getting them ready to cook.

Other Kim brothers also sat in living room with the intention of meeting their father before going to bed. The TV was on in background as they munch in Kimchi as it was the only thing available that time. Rice had to be cooked and with all dishes that Mrs. Kim wanted to cook for her husband, they thought of not disturbing her and just eating what was available for them.

Meanwhile Chisuke had also decided to stay awake till her papa came. After freshing up, she took the last packet of chips from kitchen even before her greedy brothers could see it. She laid on bed with a novel open. She ate the chips peacefully while reading her novel. The mansion was quite except for the noise of chores and meat being fried in kitchen with movie actor's voices in background.

" Switch the channel bruh. I can't watch this movie anymore!! "

Jimin groaned in annoyance. The movie they were watching was of Namjoon's choice. The movie story was about the struggle their country faced during colonial rule. It showed their grandfather's struggle to free the country. Namjoon emotionally wipped his tears as he glared at Jimin who now had enough with the movie which was really boring—according to him and other two younger brothers. Jungkook also started to throw tantrums about how they don't want to watch it and want to watch something else.

" Shut up you all guys! It's so emotional. I can't........I can't even think about the pain they all went through. It's so....heartbreaking. "

Hoseok sniffed as he wipped his tears with tissues. Trio again groaned in annoyance.

" But Hyung! We want to watch some romantic movie where there is romance. "  Taehyung.

" Suspense. " Jimin.

" Love expressions and Actions. "

Jungkook finished the line earning a smack on the back of his head from Yoongi who was now done with the ungrateful trio. Namjoon just shook his head, disapproving with their words.

" You three are really perverts. And the perverts like you three will never understand the value of this movie. You guys should be banned from this place hell you should be out of this country. Ungrateful peoples. "

Yoongi said in annoyance, his face blank and eyes on fire. Trio sat down angrily, they were about to protest again when suddenly a knock on front door interrupted them. Heads turn towards the front door in confusion. Who could be there at this hour? It was almost 1 AM and Mr. Kim was supposed to be home at near 3 AM. Then who is it? Mrs. Kim and Seokjin also walked out of kitchen in confusion as they listen to the knocks and bell ringing again and again.

" Maybe father came earlier to suprise us. Don't you guys think? "

Hoseok muttered as they all exchange glances. Jungkook took careful steps towards the main door. The knocks were growing louder as he inches towards the door. As he reached, he slowly unlocked the door before opening the door cautiously. Upon seeing the person standing in front of the door, his face turned into a confused frown. He asked.

" What......are you doing here........at this hour? "

Nina, still dressed in her celebration gown smiled sweetly and nervously at him. Others also calmed down seeing her but they also thought to themselves about why was she here at this late hour? Did Chisuke invited her?

" I wanted to meet Chisuke. "

Jimin approached and leaned over the doorframe before raising his eyebrow at her words.

" At this hour? Is it important? I mean you just met her at celebration. "

Nina hesitated, looking away for a second before turning back again to face him with a rather forced wide smile.

" I forgot to talk about it with her earlier and it's really important and I couldn't wait for morning. She slept already? I'll come tomorrow then. "

Nina was about to turn and walk away when Mrs. Kim stepped forward with a warm smile. She took Nina's hands before gently pulling her inside.

" She's in her room. Awake. You can meet her right now sweetie if it's really that important. Go. "

Nina just smiled at her before walking upstairs towards Chisuke's room. She tried to be as slow as possible and continued to maintain her calm demeanor. Mrs. Kim also went back to kitchen to continue her work while Kim Brothers stood silently in living room, their eyes following Nina's stiff back upstairs before turning back to their still on TV.

As Nina entered the hallway, she took a deep breath to control her breathing as she slowly stopped in front of Chisuke's room. With a determined look on face she knocked.

There was no response from other side but slowly the door opened on it's on and somehow it didn't suprised Nina. She pushed the door back gently before entering the room.

Chisuke was there on bed. Reading a novel while eating chips. Upon hearing the door being closed she looked up, locking her red dark eyes with Nina's honey eyes. Her face was as always blank and unreadable but something about her eyes said it that she was waiting for Nina to arrive.

Nina watched silently as Chisuke went back to reading her novel, again turning her attention to novel. She took a slow and steady step towards her bed as she finally spoke.

" You told Niran to let Myai suffer. You stopped him from telling the truth to Myai and kept her in dark for years. You let Myai grow up hating Niran without knowing the full truth. You told Niran about my existence. "

Silence was unbearable as it stretched. Nina again asked.

" You are already dead. Aren't you? "

And finally Chisuke answered for the first time since Nina entered her room.

" If you know everything then why are you confirming it from me? "
