Daisuke ran fast. His legs carrying him towards the direction Lyrica had stormed off. His mind was a mess as he ran to catch up to her. He had felt his heart dropping to stomach when he heard the actual truth from worker. His fingers shaked as he opened his car door before getting in. By now Lyrica had already drove out of Mall and he did what his heart screamed. Follow her and appologize.

Why did he even did that? His mind was covered with a poster that screamed that she's wrong, she is the bad one here, she should appologize but who's lying to himself? That poster was teared down by the truth that came flying out of nowhere.

Lyrica. Lyrica. Lyrica. Lyrica.

It was the only name roaming in his head as he carelessly drove, following behind her speeding car.

He never really cared what she did before, whatever she did always angered him but today he saw it from his guilty side. He was at fault for insulting her in front of everyone like that.

On other side, Lyrica's heart was tearing. Her mind echoing with Daisuke's words. Tears stained her cheeks as she recalled it again and again.

" First Your own damn sister, then a Blind beggar and now a poor worker? Lyrica River, just how much low you gonna step? Don't you have fucking dignity or did you lost it the day you first raised your hands on your own older sister?! "

" Lyrica. Stop crying. You are spoiled. Rotten spoiled. That's why you are not admitting your own fault because you know it'll hurt your ego. "

She had seen it. The disgusted look on his face with hatred in his eyes, for her only. The man she looked at with so much love and admiration in eyes was the same one, judging her without listening whole story.

Lyrica's phone beeped suddenly with a message from her elder sister Lyra, which only made her tears fall more faster.

" Lyrica. Appologize. Now. "

Voices continue to whisper in back od her mind as Lyrica shook her head in denial with tears unshed in her eyes.

" Why...why should I? I did nothing wrong to anyone.......I won't do it. "

After reaching her home, Lyrica straight went to her room, slamming her door shut while ignoring Lyra who was trying to talk to her. The house was quite as Lyrica layed on her bed crying to herself.

Lyra wanted to inform Lyrica that she would be coming home late tonight as after a tutor session with Chisuke, Lyra had to visit a friend who had recently gave birth. But Lyrica was not in a mood to listen. The house was filled with scent of meat frying as after preparing the dinner, Lyra got ready to leave to Kim Mansion for Chisuke's regular class.

Outside, the sky seems to be crying along with Lyrica. It rained hard. With gray sky and dark clouds, it rained hard and fast. The raindrops hits the glass windows making a comforting aura inside the house. Lyra carefully took her umbrella out before stepping out in harsh rain in a pair of trouser and hoodie.

As Lyra turned around to leave, she paused. There was someone standing under the rain, in front of their house. He was soaked head to toe, just emotionlessly standing in middle of road with a unreadable face. His dark red eyes were locked on Lyrica's bedroom window silently, hoping to catch one glance.

Following his glance, Lyra understood everything. She knew who he was, from the moment she laid her eyes on him. She simply smiled saying.

" She's inside. You can go in. "

Daisuke didn't answered as he remained silent. He didn't wanted to enter her comfort zone without her permission. He just kept standing. With his eyes stuck on her window.

Lyra sighed to herself before walking away towards Kim Mansion with a brief glance back at Daisuke who was still standing. In her way, Lyra sent a quick message to Lyrica even though Lyrica hadn't seen her last message too. She just hoped, that everything returns to same as before.

"Daisuke is waiting for you downstairs. He's under rain. Let him in and talk it out."

Lyrica didn't meant to check her phone the moment it light up with a new message from her elder sister Lyra but it was a mistakes and she had opened her chats. Lyra's words stared back at Lyrica as she blinked in suprise. She wasn't really expecting him to follow her to her home.

Lyrica got up from her bed before pulling the curtains slightly while peaking out at the rain covered area in front. Her eyes fell on the soaked Daisuke as he still stood under rain silently. His eyes were stuck on her window but couldn't see her peaking at him from behind it.

After few minutes, Daisuke's attention was drawn to the sound of door opening. He turned to look at their front door from where Lyrica was emerging with a umbrella in hand. He stayed frozen as she hesitately walked towards him with another umbrella in other hand.

One step.

Two step.

Third step.

Fourth step.

Fifth step.

Sixth step.

Seventh step.

Background faded as she approached him silently. Each step taking her closer to him. And in few more steps she was standing in front of him. Looking up at him with those eyes which didn't lied. The rain fell around them as both of them stood silently with eyes that did the whole communication.

Her voice was distant yet soft as she's spoke suddenly while raising her hand to give him the free umbrella she was holding.

" I'm not here to appologize. "

His throat hurted as he replied.

" But I'm here to appologize. "

Lyrica paused hearing his words. As she looked into his eyes, she saw the guilt there.

" I'm sorry for everything. "

Lyrica remained silent. Unable to speak anything but Daisuke continued, intending to do the complete conversation today at last.

" I'm sorry for each and every time I accused you for something you didn't did. "

The silence from her side was unbreakable.

" I know the truth. It wasn't fair for you to hear my harsh words in front of everyone and I made a mistake there. "

He paused.

" I do not deserve your forgiveness Lyrica. But you deserve to tell your side of story. "

He waited for her to reply. His eyes searching her face for any emotion but her face was unreadable with tears forming in her eyes. And at last she spoke up suddenly.

" I regret falling for you. "

And that was when Daisuke knew, A story was about to end even before it starts. If he didn't did anything then this story was about to end very fast. He watched as Lyrica turned to leave but his hand found his way to her wrist stopping her in place.
