Raghuvanshi Palace

The ride back to the palace was quiet, filled only with the soft hum of the car's engine. Siya stole a glance at Reyansh, who was focused on the road, his sharp features set in a hard expression. She knew he was still on edge from the encounter earlier, but she also knew better than to push him when he was like this.

As they approached the gates, Siya sighed and finally broke the silence. "You can't avoid him forever, Reyansh."

His grip on the steering wheel tightened slightly, but his expression remained unchanged. "Watch me."

Siya rolled her eyes. "You're being impossible."

Reyansh smirked but didn't respond. He pulled the car to a stop in front of the palace, stepping out without another word. Siya followed, knowing this conversation was far from over.

Inside, the atmosphere was calm. Meera and Pallavi sat in the living area, engaged in conversation.

Reyansh headed straight upstairs without sparing a glance at anyone. His usual calm demeanor was laced with an unspoken tension, one that Siya had grown familiar with over time. She watched his retreating figure for a moment before sighing and dragging herself toward the sofa. Plopping down beside Pallavi, she rested her head on her shoulder with a dramatic sigh.

Pallavi smiled fondly, gently patting Siya's cheek. "Kahan gaye the, bacche?"

Meera's eyes flickered toward the staircase where Reyansh had disappeared, a knowing look settling on her face. "Woh itne gusse mein kyun lag raha tha?"

Siya pouted, dodging Pallavi's question. Her voice came out almost defensively, "Maine kuch nahi kiya."

Meera and Pallavi exchanged an amused glance before shaking their heads in sync, as if this wasn't the first time they'd witnessed something like this.

Pallavi let out a soft sigh, playfully flicking Siya's forehead. "Tum dono ka kuch nahi ho sakta."

Meera chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Wahi na, Ma."

Siya laughed quietly, a small, shy smile tugging at her lips. As much as she and Reyansh had their moments, there was a comfort in knowing that the people around her understood them—sometimes even better than they understood themselves.

As the conversation continued, footsteps echoed down the staircase. Reyansh appeared, freshly dressed in a crisp suit, his presence effortlessly commanding attention. His hair was neatly styled, his sharp features unreadable as always. Taylor stepped forward, taking his laptop bag without needing instruction, and headed outside.

While adjusting his cufflinks, Reyansh stopped near them and asked in his usual calm voice, "Where are Vihaan and Laksh?"

Meera chuckled. "Tumhare dar se, tumhare aane se pehle hi office bhaag gaye."

A quiet chuckle escaped Reyansh's lips as he gave a slight nod. "Okay, then I'll head to the office."

Meera, now standing, quickly protested, "Lunch toh karke jao, Reyansh. Tum breakfast ke liye bhi nahi uthe the."

He shook his head. "I'm already late for a meeting. Aap bhej dijiye office. Hum wahan saath mein kha lenge."

He gave a small nod to them before his gaze flickered toward Siya, a brief yet unspoken exchange passing between them. Without another word, he turned to leave.

Siya instantly got up. "Main abhi aayi," she said before following after him.

Meera and Pallavi exchanged amused glances before laughing.
